Maybe +10 lots would be a lot to ask for. Probably +2 or 4 would be more realistic. especially seeing I want to open a cantina or other business but can't. How is that merchants don't have more lots to own more bssiness, It makes sense.

Anyhow, I thought I'd post what I think we should get as a master, and I hope you other masters will add to this list. Hopefully if we compile a list of what we think we should get, then maybe we just might get it, who knows

1. Store Furniture - craftable only by a merchant - special for a master (i.e. like special furniture that master architects can make)

2. Sign for master - signs stop at hiring 4, we should get shop sign +1 at master

3. Make our +10 hiring actually give us something

4. Give us more lots, I'm not greedy, 2 more would be ok

5. Increase our bazaar sale capacity by 10 and make all premium sales auto-float to the top of the list everytime someone looks at the bazaar (auto-sort by premium catagory)

6. Give us an additional vendor at master

7. Reduce our maintnence costs even more at master, I love paying 1200 credits a day on a medium harvester. Also, reduce power consumption at the master level for harvesters and factories.

8. Someone had a billboard idea to place on our houses and in towns. It's a great idea. Currently people have the option to turn sign text off, we need a way to advertise ourselves that people can't turn off in the options menu.

9. Special clothing for our vendors usable only by a master. Would need tailor items for us to make, great cross-profession item.

10. A special nerf for people who yell advertisements in the towns. Just kidding.

11. SOE needs to stress to everyone that vendors are advertised on the planetary map. Many people are still naive to this or just didn't know. Perhaps SOE can also add a mini-map to the bazaar with all the vendors listed on it too.

When they did notice it, Holo said it was too late to "fix it" without causing a HUGE uproar amongst the player base, and they decided they had to go back to the drawing board to redesign some perks for merchant to replace that lost unique feature that was originally meant only for merchant. That was the gist of what he said.

They don't have to DELETE multiple houses and all their contents, but they could implement, and make it very widely known, that you can no longer place more than one house.

Of course, depending how they implemented the multiple house rules for merchants (skills? max number houses +1?) people would just take a few merchant skills and still be able to have more than one house.

Master only? I don't know. I for one won't be able to master merchant if I want to keep Artisan and DE and still walk down the street without being chased by dwarf nuna.....

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."

As stands I'm a master architect, master merchant, master artisan, and had enough SP to get carbines 4, and carbineer 1/0/0/1. I do admit I hate getting jumped by jawa's when making rounds on my harvesters, but it's do-able to be a dual-master elite crafter and still be able to fight pretty good. But yea, they need to grant us a few more lots. And whoever said we need an increase to our house storage, great idea. As stands we do get +10 hiring, but it gives us nothing. And when you read you get he ability to customize vendors at management 3, that's a big joke. They need to either allow us to actually pick the hair color, skin color, etc or change the wording of that. We only get to customize the race. Maybe as a master we can actually Image Design our vendors, that would be nice.

ok so the list stands at:

+10 hiring (that actually gives us something)

+1 Vendor

+2-4 lots

+20 increased bazaar sales

+1 Shop Sign

+1 Vendor Image Design

+50 House Item Capacity

+1 Billboard (can be placed anywhere on the planet)

+Ability to craft special merchant only store furniture

+10% reduction in all maintnence costs

+10 Vendor Uniforms (Ability to make special master only vendor clothing items)

+1 Advertise on Bazaar Mini-map (Global advertising seen on the bazaar)

Keep adding guys. We might not get everything we ever wish for, but at least we can voice our wants. Who knows, we might actually get some of these things.

Or they could make it so our house does not count against our lots.

/whisper I do have 2 extra lots. 12 lots. I do not know what to do about it at this point. This link here in the Tech Support forum explains what happened and what I've tried so far...

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Techsupport&message.id=96856

Currently, because I am living in constant dread that a CSR will eventually wander by and "fix" me right out of business, I am the owner of only my large Tatooine house. All my other structures are being temporarily owned by a friend.

tea, billboards would have to be placed outside the "municipal zone." Basically, give them the same placement requirements as a camp. That way we can build close to a city, but not inside one to clutter it. I'd agree seeing 500 billboards in anchorhead would be bad, especially during a pvp battle lag. But a master could own only 1. That way there wouldn't be nothing but billboards.

Quite a few good ideas here. Got a few comments of my own.

A special nerf for people yelling in shuttleports was mentioned in jest, but why not limit the number of times you can "yell" to so many within a certain time period before you become hoarse and can only speak in a normal voice. It is very irritating to see a person spamming a giant all caps message every 2 seconds when you land in Coronet.

Stressing that there is a glbal map where player vendors can be listed - Definitly a good idea. I tell people my vendor is listed on the world map and they jsut kind of go quiet for a while before going "huh?"

Billboards - Please no, I see enough advertisments every day. I have signs and player names turned off because I find them very annoying and out of place, don't make me look at them.

More Lots - Give us poor architects that need zillions of resources more lots for harvesters.

Premium Sales - Good idea, but make it so premium sales are only on the first page, I don't want to scroll through 100 sales I have already seen everytime I turn the page on the bazaar.

Other things: A vendor droid that could follow you around and sell thigns in cities would be nice. It would require the crafter to be within a few hundred meters and the capacity would be low to prevent people from dropping them in the starport and giving people no reason to walk out to the other player vendors.

Increase the max bazaar price to 5k or so for high end merchants.
