Merchant Archive

So far, I have not been cursed with this problem, (except for the temporary buggy no mail and/or no credits days) but I have been reading the threads. I began to wonder... Is this a Merchant specific bug?

Doany other professionshave bugged mails?Some merchants are losing all mails upon logout and not receiving all their vendor mails,but for others: is it just vendor mails not coming in, or is it bazaar mails too? As in, for the pure crafter or other professions with no business/merchant skills, are their bazaar functions and/or all mails buggy too?

I think the reason you see it in merchants is because we are the ones whose boxes get overloaded by mail with this silly vendor spammage... I know I get 700-1000 emails a week just on item relists and I know the other merchant on my server with this problem keeps more stock than I do. Your normal non-merchant player just doesnt have the volume of mail we do.

So I guess, I think its merchants at this point...tho I dont think the problem is a "merchant problem". Merchants just happen to have the volume of mail to make it happen IMO.

My belief is that this bug is due to an email limit somewhere in the code. After so many numbers of emails in your inbox...wham...no more storage or accessing of the stored email.

Is there anyone out there that is not receiveing ANY email that this did not happen to? Am curious to find this out.

If this is something that they say cannot be fixed, what are some suggestions of things that they CAN do to work around it?

I think they can simply make a new character with you current skill sets/name and recompensate for the stock lost in the evolution. At least you will be able to recreate vendors and inventories and RECEIVE emails.
