(Had a scan through the sticky threads and topics on the first few pages and didn't see this mentioned anywhere, forgive me if it's been discussed to death.)

Is there any plan to have an ability (maybe higher up the Merchant tree) for the owners to put items up for sale that are visible and purchasable only by individuals that are named?

This would be a perfect solution for receiving orders via email and being able to drop the items on the vendor for sale & collection at the buyer's leisure.

Maybe it could even generate an email for the buyer automatically too, so they know it's available for collection, along with the price, and a waypoint?

Your thoughts have been tossed around many times. The devs are aware of the need, but it is "low priority" to them at the moment.

Okies, I figured it would be a fairly obvious request, but I'm used to the Smuggler and Weaponsmith forums where they have "outstanding issues" as a sticky thread.

The way Ive worked around this problem, was to add another vendor, named "Special Orders Only" and I put him in a different room from my others. So when someone orders something, I tell them where my "secret" vendor is in the house. Works pretty good.
