Here is my idea...it may not be an original idea but this has been on my wish list for a while...

your poll on faction deny reminded me about this idea...

I am imperial...and I sell resources...LOTS of them...

I sell to Imperial and Rebels...I don't want to cut out sales to rebels per say since they are helping to fund the Empire by buying from me...but I would like to say offer a % discount to Imperials that buy from me.

What I would like to see is at the simplest level an option to offer a % discount to a certain faction.

at the other end...this would be my dream vendor... being able to set up discount by faction or by name...If someone is a power buyer from me it is in my best interest to give them extra benifits as in a discount. same with a guild...if a guild buys up all my inventory I would love to be able to give that whole guild a discount.

What do you think?

I totaly think it is good, here is what I would like to see...ON THE VENDOR LEVEL NOT THE HOUSE LEVEL

An option, on he radial menu called something like "Faction Selling"

A screen would pop up. On it you would have this 3 columns, Faction Name, Sell to, Discount/Markup

The faction name would list the 3 factions. The sell to would be a check box, if it is checked, than the vendor would sell to that faction. the last would be a field (can't remember what they are called, but would have up and down arrows) that would allow you to go from -25% to +25%

This way, you could sell to anyone, but the price would change based on the discount, or you could not sell at all.

This would only be for those that are overt, I am not sure if it would work with others.

I would like to see the foloowing -

Discount by faction

Discount by PA membership

Discount by individual

I wouldn't want these to stack (just give them the highest discount), but these would be most useful to me. I could reward my best customers and give my PA mates the discount without having to tip them back or handle the sale in person.

Maybe go a step further. Be able to set different levels for covert and overt, though most crafters will not go overt.
