I read these boards and it's just everyone complaining. I have had some weird things happen with my shop and I agree there are buggy things that need to be fixed, but overall I love being a master merchant. I have 3 shops now and am expanding to a 4th shop and I love the fact that i can do this because I am a merchant where other ppl are stuck and limited with the business 3 vendors. Maybe i'm just feeling all lovey about the profession since I know they are changing the 7 day vendor dump thing soon. That was my only issue and now that it's going to be changed i'm very happy. Really though, if you are an artisan and you want to sell stuff, the merchant profession is very nice imo. Planatary advertising is nice, putting clothes on my vendor is a plus, and i'm not complaining with less maintence costs. Lets give this profession some love for a change =)

I am not a master merchant, and unfirtunately, the lack of skill credits prevent this, but I have quite a few blocks to my name. I love the meerchat skills! This profession has pulled my out of financial ruin, and I am now quite successful due to the skills I have obtained. The bugs are annoying, but the pay-off has made this profession worth while to me. It can only get better! If I could just have a few more skill credits......

i am just one box away from master and I could not remember why I wanted to master it. I have been just as close to mastering scout and artisan before I ran out of skill points, but for some reason I am going to master merchant and i don't know why. Advertising doesn't work for me, I'm never around to update the registration, and other things. the second tree I can't even remember the name its so worthless to me, Hiring is only a novelty after being able to pick npc's, so I might just drop down to management 4 so I can have my vendors. but then again i am busy earning some 2 million pistol xp

I really like being a merchant... I will love it once I dont have to restock my vendors every day!
