Sorry if this has already been asked or suggested, or i just plain missed this.

Im almost master merchant. Is there anyway that our items on our venders will ever show up on the bazaar terminals? or do we just have to rely on planetary advertising and the chance that people may want to take a chance and see what i have to offer on my venders?

This was available for a while in beta, but was found to be to confusing. People did not seem to understand that they had to go to the vendor to pick-up the item.

Maybe to you, but it appears that most are not quite that smart...

When u by an item, isnt a waypoint created to show you where to pick up the item now?

To me this is not that hard of a concept.

Also, there were issues with people not getting their items because the vendor owner could pull up the vendor before the buyer got there. Especially when you can't see what people have to pick up from your vendor, it's too easy for stuff to get lost...

Actually only the purchaser could remove the item, but the vendor could be deleted. As a merchant I cannot see offers I rejected or items that were not picked up.

My view on this is one of pure laziness. If you buy everything from a bazaar, you take out the chance to experience dealing with a vendor, probably hands-on. As a Merchant I have made lots of regulars that I would never have made through the bazaar. I scratch their backs and they scratch mine. We've done freebie trades before, and even set up mini-merchant guilds.

As a player I enjoy meeting shop vendors and interacting. That is what this game is. An interactive MMORPG(emphasis on the RPG part) that thousands of players "live" in. So... the bazaar issue becomes one of convenience only. It's like walking in a grocery store and ordering something from the electronics store without even goin there.

items getting lost i can understand.

but could they just code in a mechanism that would lock the item after its been purchase so that only the person who bought it can take it from the vendor?
