It has not been my experience that they can do this but you should follow up with them anyway.

Actually if you read the stickieat top of forum, Docs guide to merchant prof,it does explain that when putting items into stockroom and deleting vendor you will delete all the items too

Rule of thunb for most any proffession, come to the boards and read stickies and ask before continueing on..

I have never known them to be able to retrieve a vendor that was deleted. A LONG time ago (like first month of the game) my vendor got deleted though a bug. They coudn't retrieve it they had to instead negioiate a credit value for the items that were lost. Those are the only exceptions that I'm aware of and they usually don't do it if you deleted the vendor intentionally.

FWIW this is a very common mistake and really should be fixed somehow. Maybe a warning when you try to delete the vendor that there are still items in it. The warning now happens whether you have items or not. It is harder to delete a harvester than it is a vendor will 10 million credits of items on it

Yes on the top ten tips of how to get what you want from CSR's "be polite" is the top 3. Followed by be reasonable and be percise. Make sure you have a list (as good as you can) of the items that were lost by the deletion. Don't necessarily take the first response s the final response but follow ups should remain very polite and reasonable.

I have never read anywhere whatsoever in the instructions manual to come to the "FORUMS" to learn about the game.. it is a voluntary thing you do..I came here cause i am desperate...
