Thread: Fix for all the add barkers??

Yes, I am new to your forums, but here is an idea I had anyway. The only ways to advertise in game are the planetary map, barker droids, barker players, and word of mouth. I believe to add to that it would be great if merchants could take out an ad in the galaxy wide "paper", which is in the form of either a terminal or an IN GAME email. Players would then get this information and not have to close the spacial tab in cities where other perhaps new players are trying to get a word in edgewise for training or simple help. Using "Player events" such as droids killing all the barkers to rectify the situation in my opinion is not funny, and not a legit solution. Thank you all for your time.

I think the auction channel is prefaced with "/au". I see a number of people run 15 minute macros with their spam listing there. I don't do that because I have enough channels to watch. But, many people do look at it regularly and find what they want from the spammers.

that would be an email i would delete without reading. There would be like 1000 lines of ads. Im all set. Ill read the "grey lady" if i want ads. (thats the new york times)
