It can be grinded relatively quickly, just need some friends. Nice to gain exp when you're not even logged in.

It is far too low, I had to send Mai to the village every other day when I decided I wanted an FS box. I should be able to cap enough merchant xp to complete at least 2 boxes every visit (and only need to visit once a week)

Sorry, I've had a bad crafting day and I've lost the ability to be serious.

I'm not sure. I remember when I was trying to master all the professions, merchant was a daunting task. Took like 2 weeks, and there wasn't a good way to speed it up.

Now that I've been a master merchant for a year, it seems too easy to get merchant xp. Just throw up vendors in your basement and watch the xp roll in. The merchant cap seems way too low, but only from the perspective that it should be useful in the village. Going to the village 12437675 times to get a FS box doesn't seem like a good option. So part of me says to make the xp cap 10x larger, or make gaining merchant xp harder, but make it worth more in the village. But that's the part of me that's been a master merchant. Remembering back to when merchant took 2 weeks and all the other professions took 2 days to master, I'm not sure I'd recommend slowing it down...

We get merchant xp for people browsing our vendors. Is this still true with the bazaar vendor search, or are merchants just getting screwed around more?

(I stopped collecting merchant xp, so I don't know)
