I had to drop some boxes of merchant just to move when I first logged in.

After that, I had to remove some inventory and delete some vendors so I could still sell stuff, and get full vendor access again.

It's really not nice when a full novice combat line gets forced on ya like that. (TKA)

I was just curious how many other folks were having to sacrifice Merchant skills because of profession changes in the CU? I know I had to ditch some to keep Novice Pistoleer. My choices were Novice Pistoleer at CL14 and ditch some merchant skills or Pistols 4 at CL 7 (and no armor).

I'm beginning to think making an adjustment in Merchant like was done for ID wouldn't be a bad idea.

Fix the economy and give crafters their $$$ worth... give us real revamp.

I had to drop Merchant completely, simply not enough SP to be Merchant, MA, MDE and a elite combat prof.

... should change my sig...

I think i'm going to drop to 3/4/00 merchant, and maybe even pick up smuggler0010... You can check Harvs while FD, even if you have to FD every other Harvester in some areas.

/sigh

I haven't dropped my Tailor/Merchant/Artisan skills yet. I am waiting to see if they allow the crafters to respec. I did however pull vendors due to the massive amount of vendor bug issues right now. I will be doing custom orders only for awhile.

Just curious, but aside from the "pull and relist to have item details displayed," to which massive bugs were you referring?

Restocking, items not converting, vendors disappearing, descriptions not showing up, things dissapearing out of stockroom before the 30 days have passed, etc.. I've encountered so many bugs lately it's unreal. Until they are dealt with I will be doing custom orders only.

I dropped some Merchant and some Artisan to compensate for the extra line needed for Carbineer. (Heck, I've dropped Engineering so many times I should get frequent grinder miles.

I dropped the entire advertising line (which thanks to the global vendor search is basically useless now anyway!) before I was able to move.

I initially dropped a couple of the management boxes as well (since I dont have that many vendors) but had to get one of them back as I couldnt relist all of my stock due to the item count restriction

I won't be changing my template one bit, I have been a Tailoring Merchant for close to two yrs {without doing the holo grind} so this sure won't make me change.

I exspect to die..I do not have combat, I should not feel safe walking around Dantooine..I hire out if i want spawn killed,it is not my profession to slay things.
