Thread: HELP! Is anyone else getting this error...
Hello,
I'm a Master Merchant along w/ Master Tailor. I have 3 vendors placed & when I go to place a 4th one, I get an error I need to fire or remove one my my existing vendors. Master Merchants are suppose to have 5 vendors in all. I've sent in numerous CS tickets & get the same automated crap back that doesn't apply to me. Has anyone else gotten this problem? This now has been going on for one week w/ no fix. I'm extremely frustrated & upset that I can't place the maxium for my vendors. I've even unlearned multiple levels of my merchant profession in hopes this would fix the problem. It hasn't. Can anyone offer some insight to this?
actually as i see it its 7 vendors, 1 before you mecome a merchant, 1 when you buy novice merchant, 4 from the boxes, and the 7th from training master merchant, but anyway...
sure you dont have any merchants in other places/planets that you have forgoten about?

It is 6 actually. You don't get any additional vendors at master as odd as that might seem to you. *shrug*
My advise is to keep putting in comments every couple of days on the CSR ticket until they contact you in game. Some where the system thinks you have more vendors than you do. Unless as gertyrude suggests you have forgotton about vendors somwhere.
I had this happen when a house "poofed" with my vendor in it. It is a permanent bug so don't bother droping anything anymore. I submited a ticket an a csr had me take everything out of my current vendors andremove my vendors. He thenresetmy vendor amountand it all worked fine. 
So get a csr to help ya only way.

If you keep putting comments in the file every day or so the CSRs will eventually contact you if only to try to shut you up
