Thread: 7 days not 30?
For the last about 4 days or so when I post an item for sale on one of my vendors it is listed for 7 days again and not the 30 we had from the patch. Is this a bug or a nerf?
I have Crohn's Disease and never know when I will end up in the hospital for a week or two. It was nice to not have to worry about my items rotting while I was sick. I liked not having to remove hundreds of items off of 5 vendors before rushing to the emergency room. This was one of the best fixes ever for me.
Please return the 30 day sales!
Thanks
All my vendor items are listed as 30 days. I haven't had any issues with items reverting back to the old 7-day timer. So, it probably isn't an intentional change, but likely another *gasp* bug ![]()
If you list an item from your inventory, you get 30 days. If you list it from the stockroom, you get 7. Remove items from the stockroom and list them from your inventory, and you'll always get 30 days instead of 7.
We just did this thread a few days ago. I was very chargrined
. And like Xelene said, you have to remove the items from your vendor, and then list them from your inventory to get the 30 days. I'm kinda hoping that after 30 days I don't have to put them back into my inventory and then relist them again for another 30 days, but with all likelyhood I will.
Still, a tip for those who have large amounts of stock. When in your store inventory list, and your stockroom list, you can select multiple items by holding down the CTRL key and clicking on each item. Then you can 'Withdraw Sale' or 'Withdraw from Vendor' many items at once. It saves a little time. Unfortunately I havn't figured out how to sell multiple items (of the same type) in the same way. The only thing is you can't click on a line or it unselects everything. (Works with email too)
And if anyone knows of an even faster way, please post! ![]()

Yup, that's the problem - 30 only counts if it's from your inventory pack.
Be VERY careful when using mass withdrawls though - I'd be willing to bet you overfill your pack and they will still poof.
We went out of town for 4 days last weekend, stuff started coming off at the normal 7 day timeframe when I KNOW I relisted them after the patch. Oh joy - pulled off about 2.5k items and relisted before we left - works like a charm from the pack - little time consuming. I tried to group what I pulled off into the same prices so it was easier to relist. Took, oh - I'm gonna say 4 hours or so across 6 vendors.
The doublclicking to get the old price in the stockroom was a godsend to me - and I only found out about that fairly recently. If I had that window up - it wasn't nearly as hard pricing wise as it would have been looking up and figuring out each item. Doubleclick for pricing info - retrieve - hit the sell button (and keep that page open). I just went down the list pulling off like prices, then proceeded to the next pricepoint, pulling a few into my inventory at a time.
i think its a case of everything from the stockroom is STILL on a 7 day timer from when you put it in pre patch. if you retrieve it and put it back in again you get the full 30.
same thing applies to changed descriptions. ie for tailors cold weather gloves used to be under MISC - now under HANDWEAR. If you had them in your vendor pre patch and they were described as MISC - they will stay described catergory MISC until you retrieve them and put them back in. Then they correctly show the new category.
