i had checked my vendor and all the vehicles where still there then i didn't sign in for a 1and half to 2 weeks camE back and auction expired on them all
I lost over 600k on those vehicles i have been saying for a long time that vendors shouldn't need restocked why do you say for one thing if you have a vendor thats got mutiple items several page worth it can take forever to put it all back up (if you even remember the prices). And now with this being summer and ppl taking a week to 2 weeks vacation this can and will happen to lots of ppl this has to be changed.
plz post if you agree that this has to change

Ok .. First off, when you click details on your vendor items, it will tell you how many days you have left before your items expire. If you plan on going on a trip that will last for a week or two, then check your vendor and relist everything that is about to expire.
Secondly, the items expire to keep people from storing stuff on your vendor. The vendor doesn't know if you're simply storing stuff or if you're actually selling stuff, therefore after 30 days, the items will expire, and then will wait on you to pick them up in the stock room for 7 days, in which point if time if their not picked up or put back up for sale .. they go poof.
Now... if you say you don't remember what prices things were for sale at, then in the stock room, hit the details button, that will tell you what the price was before in teh stock room. Then hit resale (I think it is) on that screen, and just put in the price that it was. Now on this point, I agree with you .. it is annoying to have to remember your prices this way and it is time consuming, but it works.
But as for the 30 day thing and then the 7 day stock room thing ... don't count on it to change. Just check your items and relist them if you know that you're going to be gone on vacation for a week or two.

No they need restocking, you can leave for one month without losing everything as it is. it just takes some planning, you don't leave for 2 weeks without making sure everything that will expire in the next week isn't put back on sale. Otherwise vendors will never get empty and there needs to be a difference between active and non active merchants, as soon hopefully empty vendors will be unregistered from the map.

Before you get too excited at this new info. Yes the info is correct. If you are dealing with only a few items then it is minimal hassle. If you have several vendors and or hundereds of listings (like a good merchant needs) you can take quite a while going thru your entire inventory. The entire inventory management system could use a serious rework. Yes I believe we need the 30 day limit to make sure we review our vendor contents but this is a game so it needs to be a lot simpler and less tedious then the current system. Just for starters I will give 1 example of a fix that would help (but only for resources and crated items) Make it possible to set a price per item then the resource/crates can be put up for sale with jsut a few (less than 5) quick strokes (clicks
) and when they need to be checked the time left should be visable on the main screen listing but even if on details it would still be 1 listing. (won't help taylors much).

I thought there was a slash command that you could use to put all your stuff on hold while you were gone. Can't remember what it is tho..

When you're looking at a vendor's list of items, is it possible to sort the sales by when they expire? Or do you have to click on each individual one to see those details?
