Found the technique on a later page on this forum:

1. Open up the notepad via /notepad command line

2. Key in multiline information in the notepad window.

( When displayed on the sign, each line will be centered automagically.)

3. Highlight desired text by left click-drag of mouse

4. Use Chat copy command to copy text (a)

5. Use thebuilding's management terminal to display current name (shows already highlighted)

6. Use Chat paste command to paste text (a)

(a) chatcopy/paste commands must be set by each user on the Options screen,Controls submenu, keymap button

I chose to bind "Shift-Ctrl-c" and "Shift-Ctrl-v" as my chat copy/paste commands since they were similar to the windows copy/paste commands.

(b) You can enter the \#rrggbb\ color numbers in the text of the sign also, but the ninekeystrokesfrom the first \ to the last \ do not display. (rr gg bb) are the hexidecimal numbers for the intensitiy of each color - red, green, blue. 00 is dark (0%) thru ff is 100% (bright).
