Well, I was lucky for several days. I've been using vendors since Business III (thank you very much) and took Merchant and Hiring I over the past couple of days.

Well, after getting Hiring I, I wanted to try out the new vendors. I did this and that and tried a few different models of NPC, Terminals and Droids and now all of my existing inventory is stuck in "this region"'s Storeroom and none of my customers are able to view anyof that inventory as they can only see what's on an individual vendor. So, I figured I'd better move my inventory directly onto the seperate vendors but now, it's stuck in the Storeroom and I'm unable to sell it (it only displays on "this region"'s list) and I'm unable to retrieve it into my personal inventory to replace on the new vendors.

So, I'm out of business until this is fixed unless anyone has any experience with this or recommendations on workarounds?

If I allow customers to offer me items for sell or if I put new items for sale will customers be able to retrieve them?

Things worked better when I was Merchant III.

Well, I think I've figured out what the problem is.

Those items are stored in the "Regional" storeroom. Both of the vendors that initally were tied into that storeroom are gone. Items were removed from sale on the vendor and then placed into the storeroom. The vendors were deleted and new ones created.

The new items have nothing for sale on them, however in the Vendor Owner List I can see what's in the Reginoal Storeroom but I can't retrieve those items. So I can't place them on the vendors. And I can't put them into my personal inventory. They're in a null bin somewhere. I can put new items on my venfors and then withdraw them from sale. But all the former items are just sitting somewhere unrecoverable.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Yeah, I've had this happen.

I actually moved the entire shop from one area to another but didn't remove the items from the venor before I destroyed them all. And without those vendors there was no way to reach those items, and they just sat there a few days until they dissapeared. I don't know that this is a bug really, I think it's just the way it works. If you uproot a house and leave items in them the items dissapear. So, Sorry dont' have any advice just bad news.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I figured by now Lowca would have crashed or rebooted or something and I could have tried one more time to see if I could reteive them.

That said,I think the vendors should have a warning message before you remove them about having inventory in the stockroom - are you sure you want to delete? Heaven forbid I would have accidentally let go of the mouse button on remove vendor and it just popped accidentally.

I actaully removed all the items from one vendor, (not just to store room, removed retrieved etc), took down the old vendor, put up a new vendor, put all the items on the new vendor and logged off.

Come back 4 hours later to find that there is nothing on the new vendor, I can't add anything to the new vendor, and all my stock is in my regional stock room.

Still no response (2 days later) from a CSR to my ticket.

Its frustrating to have to restock 80-100+ items when your low on resources.
