Thread: Help! I want to open a Cantina...
It's as simple as you said.
You need a house, some furniture and decorations, a vendor and stuff to sell. Turning it into a Cantina is simple about using your imagination.
I am starting a Cantina on Corellia (Starsider). It is right next to our PA Hall. To turn what would otherwise be a regular building into a Cantina I have done the following:
- Name it appropriately: Angry Eopie Cantina (CoreTech)
- Placed tables, chairs and other items so it looks like a Cantina.
- Placed an NPC vendor just inside the front door and called her Tes Slider (Cantina Manager).
- Placed an NPC vendor behind a table and called him Dezark (Bartender).
- Put a Food and Chemical Crafting Station in the back room.
It is really up to your imagination.
I believe that any type of damage can be healed in a house, so it really doesn't matter if the game knows it is a cantina or not. You could have a medic in there healing people (for free or for a small fee) while they listen to music and buy all of your drinks.

Thanks! I guess one of my concerns was this: You can only heal battle fatigue in a cantina. Is there anyway for the game to know that my establishment is a cantina to receive these benefits? Thanks for your help. I am on Starsider, too, by the way. Maybe I will stop by and see your watering hole one day...
I've got my resteraunt The Rusty Peko on Flurry, and it's been great. I have a medium Naboo house, waterfront, with my crafting room upstairs. In the first hall is a Host Vendor, who greets people, just inside is my Maitre D', the cairs, tables, a nalagron for the live music i hire. Downstairs is the bar, with barkeep and "stage" area, and to the left is the Reserved Suite for weddings, parties, etc.
Weddings are really popular, they're held on the balcony, and then free wedding cake and champagne afterward ![]()
No, there's can't be healing or whatnot yet...but all you need is your imagination to make it a fun experience for everyone.

do you guys think they will release cantina buldings and maybe something like hotels for players to build when the player-city patch comes out?
I would like to see a few things in that patch:
- Cantina's
- Walls, gates and outdoor enclosures
- Storage facilities (like Hangars)
- Road, pavement and other ground tilesets.
