Thread: Custom clothing? Doesn't seem to be working...

Closing in on master merchant, and today decided to try the Hiring IV Corporate Image feature of giving clothes to merchants for them to wear.
Handing clothing to the merchant made them say "gee thanks for the spiffy new thread, boss!", but that was it
no change in appreance.
Known issue? Is there anything they *can* wear?
Rather disappointing so far...

I successfully dressed my naked wookie vendor in a hood, gloves, and wrap.
My twi'lek ate a luxurious gown with the "thanks boss" message. I thought maybe it was because she already had a dress on, so I tried an other experiment.
My mon cal ate a headdress with the "thanks boss" message. Even though she's not wearing anything on her head, she didn't wear the hat.
No pattern I can see.
