Thread: Okay now I understand the frustration--Surely there is an easier way, devs!
I was torn between laughing my butt off and pulling my hair out as I tried to create a new vendor last night.
I already have a twilek in my other store, and went thru the process of making/destroying her several times in order to get a suitably attractive one for a clothing store. I thought "Hm...maybe I'll try a human instead." and soon dicovered that they are all bald LOL. Same with zabrak, so I ended up going back to Twilek again.
Every vendor I ended up with was very fat....finally I gave in and thought "Okay...I can work with this. I'm thinking..Queen Latifah.....yeah.." so I started creating vendors and naming them "Big Momma Malinda". And nautrally every vendor with that name came out skinny LOL.
Finally I ended up with a good heavy twilek with an appropriate name, and imagined my voluptuously large shopkeeper as a champion of Plus Size Sexuality. Once I dropped her and dressed her I got to discover the new joke---she was utterly flat as a pancake!! I mean, you put 60 pounds on a woman, and give her no boobs??? What kind of cruel universe is SOE anyway???
So, like everyone else, I am wanting any or all of the following:
--name the vendor AFTER you make it
--visual selection or customization of vendor physique/colors
--hair on humanoids
--full figured gals should be full figured everywhere, not just pregnant.
Oh...and I can also speak from a moment of insanity and experimentation, that Mon Cal's do NOT look good in a fleshwrap!! *shudder*

I would like to see us being able to truely "customize" our vendors, clothing and all.. before creating them. I thought it was bad at novice merchant trying to get that elusive Twilek female to come out. I choose her for my original shops because she always came out looking good back then. Now at master merchant, it takkes me literally hours to get an acceptable merchant for my shop and more times than not, I end up having to hire one of those fat slob vendors out of frustration.
Minimal Settings Needed:
Weight
Height
Skin Color (red, green, tan, etc)
Skin tone (light - dark)
Clothing (casual, dressy, jungle look, etc)
Clothing Uniforms (some preset clothing choices that always come out the same)
I realize that we can "dress" our vendors already when we get that skill, so how about making the uniform option higher in the tree so that skill doesn't become pointless. My only reason for suggesting the clothing parts, is finding a clothing vendor with 6 identical sets of clothes in stock is impossible, as is trying to buy matching sets of clothes across different tailors shops(they have so many color choices to use). So far I have been forced to use the stuff I can make at master artisan in order to get my vendors in any sort of "uniform".
