What I don't understand is the fact that we pay their salaries, and they OWE an explanation, this gestapo crap has got to stop, banning merchants for being merchants, gimme a break. If you can take the time to spend our money on tracking every single duped credit, and every single transaction, the least you could do is take the 5 whole minutes to make a post. The right thing to do is take the whole 2-3 min and send each of these merchants an email, with reasons and reassurance. I'm not a merchant, I'm not banned, but I feel for ya guys and gals...they have continuously taken our love for Star Wars, and shoved it in our faces with piss poor customer service. /endrant

Good luck all of you trying to get a response from a brick wall.

I am not banned either yet some of my best friends are. So are some of my biggest rivals. I know these people are inoscent. Their only crime was having well stocked vendors full of high ticket items.

Sales of over 500k are getting flagged. Thats not much for a well stocked shop to do in a day. Heck one loot vendor can sell that in seconds.

Thank you for speaking out on an issue that does not directly effect you.

I'm taking a wait-and-see approach.

I sell some high-ticket stuff on my vendors, some of it very attractive for money laundering purposes.

I suppose that if I get banned, I'll write a terse but professional note to SOE asking to be unbanned. I'll give them a timeframe. A short one.

If I get no releif in that time frame, 4 accounts gone. I am quickly losing patience with SOE incompetence.

I think they've forgotten that we're not paying for the privelege of playing their game. They are supposed to be providing a great game with great service for the privelege of receiving our monthly subscription fees.

Quotable: It's pretty freaking underwhelming when the story turns out to be you, alone, in a field, for two weeks, punching toads. | At least SOE lasted a year before they went Turbine on us.

With regard to merchants who receive duped credits....

If the items haven't actually been used and don't have bona fide purchasers for value down the line.... well..... why don't they just undo the transactions with an explanation to the merchant.

(5 suits of composite armor were purchased from you with duped credits. The credits have been destroyed but you have your armor back. Sorry for the inconvenience.)

Something does need to be done about these duped credits before they destroy the game economy. Temporary suspensions while they check things out seem reasonable even if I end up as one of the people suspended. However, anyone suspended but not banned should I think have the fact that they were completely exonerated put in some kind of system-wide message if they so request.

I also think they should get about 3 months free playing time on all suspended accounts by way of apology.

Our best armorsmith got banned with no explanation. Pleas for an explanation have fallen on deaf ears.

Well i'm closing up shop as I type this, not sure where i'm going to store all this stuff, but I don't want to be banned <shrug>

Anyone that was banned, I hope the trained monkeys that make dev and csr choices for them make a better choice soon.

This is the final straw for alot of people, those stupid CSRs from India have finally done it this time. It'd be amazing if the fall of SWG is credited to a bunch of CSRs.

- I support NO DECAY.It should be run like EQ . No 20k price cap on the bazar and everyone can craft. Its has worked for 7 years on everquest and there is no decay plenty of money and no crazy prices.

Decay is only good for crafteres and bad for everyone else.

What happens to the buildings and harvesters of a crafter or merchant that is "temporarilly suspeneded". Is SOE going to stop charging maintance on those structures? What about items in the store room.? This game has a Real Time element and SOE needs to deal with that as well.
