Hiya

when i try access any of my vendors, i get a message that says the market is unavailable, same on all of them (3 vendors), and i get it on both my accounts, the one with the merchant and one without merchant.

i thought it might be maintenance thing, so checked status. both house and vendor is 100% and has a good pool of credits left.

they are initialized, one has a good chunk of items, and i have sold stuff from it.

anyone encoutered this and know why it happens?

I hope this isn't a Chimeara only issue, but it's happening all over Chimeara, and I assume other servers too.

Funniest named thread ever!

I just had this happen to one of my two vendors. (Tatooine/Sunrunner) The mall my vendor was located in needed to move into larger quarters so I setup the second vendor, gave it some spiffy new clothes and commenced moving my tailoring inventory to it so I could get rid of the first vendor and the mall owner could take down the building or do whatever it is he wants to do with it.

As I started adding my inventory to the new vendor I noticed the items were not disappearing from my inventory as they were loaded onto the vendor. They weren't really "there" and weren't taking space, could not be reloaded onto the vendor, etc., and would disappear from my inventory only if I logged out and back in. I ran back to the old mall to get another load and when I got back I noticed the vendor was no longer wearing the new clothes I gave it. That's when I got the "This market is unavailable" error message. Doubt it matters, but I'm merchant 0042.

Sometimes this happens after a big patch or load. I am betting in this case its happening as SOE looks for the trail of bogus credits. Not to say you have been paid with dups but they might be looking at your trade record now.

This is an infrequent bug I think. This happened to me before patch9 went live. The response I got when I posted was that itemslisting to a new vendor can take up to 5 minutes for the DB to catch up to the transaction. The CSR response was along that line as well, stating that it might be also due to the size of the upcoming patch that was about to go 'live' lagging the servers talking to each other.
