Thread: So is it 100% SURE that i can store 4000 items at ONE Vendor as Master?

Hi
I read now several threads but i have to ask again to be 100% sure...
So is it 100% SURE that i can store 4000 items at ONE Vendor as Master?
Because i have over 1000 items on one vendor...and dont wanna come back from work and see it all deleted or so...

1. Items will NEVER be deleted. If you got too much items on your vendors, you cannot add anymore items to the vendor, but that's all. Customers can buy from it, even offer to it, you can withdraw items, everything you want.But they won'tdisappear with publish 10.
2. The latestnews isindeed that the maximum is per merchantd and not per vendor, so you can have 4.000 items on one vendor at master merchant.
Butitems IN a backpack will count towards the maximum too, although it's not clear if that will be in publish 10 or later.

Its unclear becasue they don't know yet. Most likely it will be after publish 10 as they haven't completed the coding for that part yet and they won't hold up publish 10 for it. It is likely to go out in a 10.1 or 10.2 publish or as a hotfix. This is all educated guessing on my part they haven't given me a date. If Pub 10 gets delayed for some reason it might make it in. The point is that there is little point in reorganizing based on something that is going to change soon. Just be aware when you making plans to adapt your business to the new realities.
