OK here is what they want to do:
Artisan Business III: Get 1 vendor that will hold a total of 100 items
So if this is true just free up a few skill points ( 24 ) for a temp amount of time ( about 4 hour ) and grind it up.
Place the vendor and the 100 items..
3 and a half weeks later Regrind and repost items...
with most combat professions you can drop enough to not need to Regrind you combat profession... Just relearn the Boxes with the built up Combat XP and Skill XP
Example:
Drop Exploraton 1 and novice scout with TK 4/3/4/3 and you will have more than enough.
And if you have banked the XP you just relearn it... 99.9% of the People would have 900k Unarmed XP and 300k Combat XP Banked.
And if you have banked the XP you just relearn it... 99.9% of the People would have 900k Unarmed XP and 300k Combat XP Banked.
And I have read no where that a Full Pack counts as 51 items , its still Just 1 from how I understand it..
So you can have 100x51 stored with Buisness 3 for them Pack Rates out there.
So you can have 100x51 stored with Buisness 3 for them Pack Rates out there.
Anyone else see this to easy to keep a vendor?
Here is a Tip for the Smugglers: Make Molecular Claps Under 2.5k of any metal gets Business 3 in 5 minutes.

Basically this will work for a little while but most people will eventually get tired of re-grinding and you'll hit a point of diminishing returns.
That's a lot of work just to store 100 items (or two packs of 49) for 30ish days.
You can store 25 items on the bazaar for20cr each for 7 days (plus 'stockroom' time) and it takes no skill points.
The packs may not be counted as one item on pub 10, but that will most likely change shortly thereafter.

Quite a few people have proposed this already. As posted above, people will get tired of it. This might work fine for some who don't sell a lot of items, but it won't work for crafters or fast sellers, as many of them can sell 100 items in 2-3 days, much less almost a month. Not worth it in those cases to skill up, fill 100 items, drop skill...then 5 days later your vendor is empty. You can't restock or take it down and remake another, so it sits there. People hate empty vendors, and aren't likely to come back if they came and found it empty, so you'd lose repeat business. Or, you can skill up the box again every 5 days, which makes it fairly pointless. Why not just keep the boxes? After all, even at the end of the month, you still have to clear up skills points to retrain the box. So, you'd have to drop something else if your template is full and retrain that anyways.
In the end, it's too much hassle. SOE knows about it, and I'm pretty sure they aren't worried, as they also realize that the majority of people wouldn't do it for those reasons. Oh, and it's "SOE is not *too* smart".
hehe (Sorry, I mean that in a purely teasing sense, as it just made me giggle.)

Doh, forgot to mention...they already clarified that full backpacks will count as 51, not 1. Just not sure if that particular change goes in with Publish 10, or coming later, but either way it will be the case.
