Thread: Benefits over just using bazaar?

I'm interested in becoming a merchant, but I don't understand what benefits I get over just watching the bazzar closely and buying low/selling higher...

I wasn't in beta, so I'm sure I'm "missing something".

Any help?

at the moment there is a bug that is preventing anyone from becoming a Novice Merchant. If you get a house and put a vendor in it you only get 5 exp per HOUR, which would take 45 days to get Novice Merchant. Do something else untill they fix this issue.

The main reason I want to be a merchant is so my title says "merchant". NPCs will be so stunned I will be able to attack with impunity.
