I am about 100XP from Novice Merchant(should take a day or two ), and I have been using my first vendor as a sort of Armory/Storage unit for my clan. Basically I list everything at 1 Credit in the Vendor, the house is private and only members of my clan are allowed in so only they can buy the goods inside. They also offer things to me at 1 credit and I relist them at one credit for things they want to offer to the rest of the group.

My question is this, though I guess this didn't start out as the reason for the post, when I get a second vendor and place it in a Public house, will the items from my other vendor be listed there, or will I be able to turn that option off? I'd hate someone to go in there see something for 1 Credit thinking they got a steal and head to the other vendor, see it's a private house, and get pissed off because they got hosed. All be it for only one credit, I'd still like to avoid this mess.

Or am I just exploiting the use of a vendor and there is no way to get around listing it on the 2nd vendor? Do Guild Halls get some sort of storage for this sort of thing? Storing things for your guild?

According to another post on this forum, all vendors share the same inventory base, regardless of location.

I have two vendors in the same house and I'm pretty sure people can only buy items from the one they're using - if you select Entire Region or whatever, you'll see all items on all your vendors, but this option is only available to the owner.

However, you CAN retrieve from your vendor any item in the "Region" from any other vendor in that "Region".

Their right they are seperate. I run 4 vendors and shoud have a 5th tonight. All have their own stock.

FYI if you use your vendor as storage your going to PAY for that since it jacks up the maintance. I'd suggest buying a small house for junk/storage it's cheaper in the long run or just make 1 room storage. Floor works great. I got about 4000 pistol barrels in crates of 25 units in 1 room of my place.

Griz is correct, all vendor inventories are separate. I have one vendor with 200+ items on it... selling normally... and another vendor with nothing on it just directing traffic... the inventories are separate... as far as I have seen for the past week.

Wait, wait.. you can retrieve your items from the stockroom no matter what vendor they are in? Because I can't. Removed one vedor, can see everything in it in my stock room but can not retrieve it. Sits on the screen forever and does not get it.

This is a bug. Close the "Retrieving..." window and try again until it works.

Don't try to retrieve items from ANY vendor but the one you placed the item on, it's hopelessly borked.

Has been since beta 3 and has never been addressed.

If you get endless retreving more then likely the item was eaten when you removed a vendor or your at the wrong vendor. Items poofed in a vendor that you see in your other vendors cannot be removed at this time. I unstock and retreve about 60 weapons a day. I stock a ton then when my slicer comes on I let him play with them then restock them.
