Thread: Question about admin, removal from admin?

Ok,
I would like to add merchants/vendors to our cantina. I do this by granting admin rights. Now once they have the vendor in place, can I then remove them from admin so they cannot move items or furniture and will the vendor work?

Yes they only need admin access to drop the vendor. Once it is down you can safely remove them from the Admin list. They don't need admin list again unless they need to drop another vendor. Even removing the vendor can be done without admin access.

Somewhat related question, whatever happened to the Vendor List option on houses?

It was removed because you still had to have admin to drop the item in the house. The Vendor List Option became redundant.

Ah I see. I noticed it wouldn't work when we tried (long time ago). Thanks.
Only reason to ask is I have a decorated shop and wouldn't mind adding more vendors but it's a bit of a pita removing all the valuables before adding someone to admin for a vendor.
I only add a few select trusted friends to the admin list.

Well you only have to add them for a min..go to your shop with them. Add them and let them drop their vendor and then remove them from the admin list.
