Thread: new player questions thst CS say they wont answer @%$$£ barstewards

hi all
i am a new player and have not had any helpful response from customer services to my questions .All they do is say that they can not help with in game questions . which is rather surprising to me .
I dont think it is an in game question .Its more to do with how the game system actually works , im not asking them for advice on how to kill a creetle !
Anyway
i have mastered artisan , and nearly mastered armour smith . I would like to get my shop advertised on the map so have decided to go merchant as well . However i really would like to keep master marksman , to go and do some action type gaming when crafting gets boring .
So if i get master merchant , will i be able to drop it completely and keep the vendors , and map inclusion .
Im not too bothered about loosing the vendors really but would like to know t if they dissapear , so that i can put all my stock on a single vendor that i get for artisan .
Also if i decide to go more for an elite combat profession , say BH , and drop artisan will the vendor allowance for artisan dissapear .
I would like to try out all elements of this game , and would hate to see that all the stuff i have made and put on vendor is lost , because i would like to try something apart from crafting .

The reason the CSRs will not discuss dropping merchant skills and keeping your vendors and planetary registration is that they do not want to encourage you to use a game bug. The developers did not intend to allow people to keep vendors and such after dropping the merchant skills and will be fixing this in some way in an upcoming patch.
The question you asked them basicallyis "Can you tell me how to abuse a bug, so I can keep something I shouldn't have?"
The professions were set up to provide dependancy on other people within the game. Nobody can be an all everything player. This is why players only have a certain number of skill points. MMORPG (multi-player!).
Anyway, I can answer your question. YES, you can drop merchant skills and keep the vendors and merchant tents and ad barking and planetary registration. HOWEVER, some day those things will be taken away from you in some unknown as of yet way because the developers do not want people keeping the merchant vendors when they are not merchants. So some day you will lose your precious vendors.
I doubt this is the answer you were looking for. And if you spoke to them like "@%$$£ barstewards" when you asked them originally, I can see why they didn't respond further.

thank you for your helpful reply . I was looking for an answer and you have graciously provided it .
As for your snide closing comment , you couldnt be further from the truth . I asked a simple question in polite terms . I received a shoddy reply , composed by a CSR representative who couldnt be bothered to help and simply pasted in a standard reply from their database out of pure idlenesss.
For you information i followed this up with a further enquiry , which reached someone else at CSr , and they told me whatyou have so magnanimously stated .
The barstewards comment was a reference to CSR staff who simply can not be bothered to do their job properly .
it would seam that it is a lottery as to what sort of response paying customers get from CSR
