Thread: What happens to items offered to a vendor that is inactive after pub ten?

Had a customer order a bunch of my artisan stuff and asked me to put it on his vendor.
After I did so It occured to me he might lose that merchant in the morning. (Before they pushed pub 10 back)
Has this been tested with the way vendors where speed up there for a bit on Test2 I lost track my self. Would he be able to purchase the item I offered him? If not would I be able to recover the item?

You should make sure he picks the items up before the patch goes live next Tues (8/31). If you do not get a mail message stating that he has done so, I would go to his vendor by Monday and remove the offer and get your stuff back. If you do this the worse thing that could happen is you have to go back and offer it again or trade it in person. If you dont do this many other worse case scenarios could pop up where you lose the items.

As far as I can tell nothing will happen except that if he purchases the offers he won't be able to put them up for sale. He would be able to retrieve them. He certainly can buy them from the offers screen.
