People really, no big surprise this publish is going in,

So get off your rears

empty the vendors you should not have

remove your storage only bags

reduce your stock count

get off the forums get into game and get ready...

or do we get to see yet another 50 threads screaming

'why is my stuff gone' ...like you didn't know

well I just spent 2 hours fixing my crap so just doing it doesn't work reading the forums posted by THUNDERHEART.... we did not get the extra vendors so for all the elite professions such as CHEF WEAPONSMITH and ARMORSMITH that require specific materisl and Components from Similar crates.. are now out of space to hold said items and keep room in factories and such ...

this is a serious detriment to all crafting professions with items to be sold taking up the vendor room as possible but with no room to hold our raw materials and components is a serious issue...

So get off your duff and just do it.. I don't see a pa hall or large house that can hold only 250 items with bank of 100 items to hold everything i need Just for armorsmith.. \

Yes your being flamed for your pathetic post .. I have tons of Hides and such to enhance my armor items but waiting on decent spawns that are not spawning on my server for last 6-7 weeks.. and now i have to suffer because we can't hold on to them ..

as i see it the devs are just wanting me to work this game as if its a 8-12 hour shift maybe they should pay me to play this game instead of vice versa...

my situation i have 4 vendors 1 tailor vendor 1 armor vendor 1 weapons/loot vendor and another vendor for other sales and holdings of my factory crates now i can't hold every single schematic i can make in the game in these vendors creating 2 more vendors would solve the problem but would cut out on my plans to those vendors that have been drafted up in last couple of weeks..

so its another fix/NERF that only hinders the money making process of this game and i am not going to sit in a cantina or starport custom making armor or clothing for any player since they are a waste of products cuz its not good enough or the color isnt' what they imagined..

my tailor vendor has well over 700 items to be sold My armor vendor over 275 items my loot vendor over another 200 and the 4th vendor i have every component and hide to enhance armor or make the limited schematics up... its not like i am holding them cuz i want to hold them its just part of the need of the industry of the game.. now I either make it all up iwth poor quality materials and charge my customers outragous prices for the DEMAND of the product or just leave the profession alone since there was nothign wrong with it in the first place..

However if a vendor is empty for more than 7 days then the vendor should just dissappear ... there are to many vendors that are on any server i play on that are empty and results in wasted trips and wasted credits to view an empty vendor with a said product on it..

not crying aobut what about my stuff .. but crying for hte fact i am working hard for my guild my customers in this game to keep a decent product... and now its not possible

And you own a large house or PA hall to boot more then likely....

Use what they have done ingame to your advantage...

(should not mention it here because it will become they next thing they change)

Why do people insist on halls or lrg houses if they are just screaming storage?

Use SMALL GENERICS!

less maint, less land, hold same as med

set up 3 smalls in land and maint compared to a large and have a 450 item count instead of 250 space....

stop storing resources on vendor,

use the craft station hoppers! can even get to resources while crafting thanks to that nifty 'hopper' tab during process.

leave newly crafted crates IN factory hopper

stop hoarding

and aboutthe whole 'waiting for spawn thing'

Honestly I love when folks run dry or out of resources,

it allows another to hold that slot for awhile.

you can't make but they can,

until next round,

where you try again

That's definately how it should work

And I do not agree (holding the crafting master titlesof WS, DE, ART on Shall and Tailor and Merchant on main) one bit with Crafters should get extra room or vendors.

Everyone who decides to sink points into merchant and hold that skill

no matter profession choice is entitled to what those Merchant boxes allow.

Just because we chose to craft instead of kill does not earn us the right to more space then our neighbor.

Factories are more expensive upkeep, but are 100 items/lot.

Personally, I would not use crafting station hoppers are storage. Folks have lost items this way and been told that they're not intended to be storage units.

I don't suggest using the hoppers either. Additionally I think they count against the item limit in your house as well. I know way back last summer they did not, but I think that has changed. Don't hold me to that though. Also, have any other crafters noticed that factory crates are only usable in the hopper on the day you put them in? I find I can't use factory crates after the server refreshes unless I pull them out of the hopper and put them back in.

On a side note, sometimes I feel a bit silly that if find myself playing SWG the way the Dev's intended. What I mean by this is it never occured to me to use a vendor for storage only, after all it's a VENDOR not a storage bin. It never occured to me to take up master merchant just so I could drop it an keep my vendors. It never occured to me to hoard so many resources that it took up all my lots, because I knew the concept in resource shifts was to have a crafting community that was in a constant flux. I have no sympathy for the crafters out there who are crying foul regarding this vendor "nerf." I see this as a balancing of the community. It will be a while before your millions of stacks of high quality resources are depleted and I imagine that by then you will have found a new way to skirt around the edges of the game. There is a limit on storage space for more than just data base concerns. There's a limit to keep players from amassing so many high quality resources that they are always able to make the highest quality weapons/armor/food etc.

Sorry if that turned into a rant.

Items in crafting station hoppers do count against the house's item limits.

I don't buy the "there isn't enough storage argument", but the crafting station hopper is not a way to increase storage. Items in the crafting station's hopper count towards the structure's item count and don't add any storage capacity at all.
