I'm not sure if this has been talked about prior..

but there seems to be a bug or exploit where someone can utter a command to your droid (barker) and have it follow that person somewhere..

I placed my barker in corronet and 5 minutes later a fellow merchant paged me saying that someone stold my barker to an alternate location.. he said he saw the person do it this time, and had his barker taken on naboo the other day also..

when i went back to corronet i couldnt find the droid, and had to re-store and then take it back out..

if this is true, he said that someone likes to take all the droids and pile them into one area as a joke..

anyway, does anyone know about this??

yes its possible with an exploit.

You can force droids/pets to follow you and "drag" them away - but you cant steal it.

Report the Guy who does this.

What's the command to report someone? Or to submit a CSR ticket? I'm sure it's in the holocron or something, but can someone please post here? Thanks.

/REPORT reports someone. To submit a ticket, from your holocron (control+h) go into customer service, do a search on the KB, and then use the "Submit a CS Ticket" button that ungreys (I like searching for "Why are the DEVs noobtards" myself, but I know someone that allways searches for "Let me submit my danged ticket" )

Hope it helps

please dont spread the word on the exploit..

someone else did it to me again.. moved my damn barker to an area where it wasnt able to be noticed..

this is horrible..

i get a lot of business from the barkers.. if people keep moving them, whats the point of having the ability!!!

i hope they fix this..

From Community Standards:

12. You will not exploit any bug in Star Wars Galaxies, and you will not communicate the existence of any such exploitable bug either directly or through public posting, to any other Sony Station member. You will promptly report such bugs via the /bug command in-game or by emailing [email protected]. Exploitable bugs include, but are not limited to bugs that grant the user unnatural or unintended benefits in-game.

You're out of time, SOE The whole 2.5 months shouldn't have been. The game was fine up until Nov 15th. If the CU was worked on, instead of devoting time to the NGE (including the many months prior to November), the game could possibly be totally bug free by now.

My account cancels on 2nd Feb, which was a waste as only played game for 1 day to get the life day gifts, will be resubbing when creature handler, Bio-engineer, scout, and ranger return, oh and the FS village.

hey you merchants out there..

it seems like no one likes barkers!!

did you know you can use them at multiple locations..

i can place 4 of them, on different planets at the same time!!

the things bring in quite a lot of business.

come on Merchants.. speak out against this outrage!!

My gf was in the process of setting one up and I told her about this bug. Sure enough 2 minutes later someone hijacked her droid. Later in the evening I saw another fella hijack 1 barker droid and 2 noobie green droids all at once..... silly game

I thought you could prevent it using the "stay" command on the droid before anyone tried it. or has this stopped working now ?

If someone uses the /summon command then any type of pet will follow that person. I watched someone do it to my pet and everytime I told it to stay all he had to do was summon it again and it followed him. This needs to be fixed.
