Thread: Visitor Counter Needed

I've brought this up before, but I haven't heard anything about it for a while, so I thought I'd give it another try.

As a Merchant who can't be IG 24-7, I think it would be extremely useful to have a "Customer Counter." In UO, one could check a menu on their public house to see how many visitors had been through. I didn't have any vendors in UO, but I just found it interesting to see how many people had come in to check my place out.

This feature could either be on the house status screen or on the vendors themselves--either way I think it would really help us Merchants get a better idea of what kind of traffic we're getting. We haven't been given any efficient ways to communicate with our potential customers....at least give us a way to see how many potential customers we've had.

Any thoughts?

I think that is a great idea.

On a similar vein, one thing I had been hoping for (before they changed it to restrict vendors to public buildings) was something telling me who had paid the fee to enter the building. Now you have a list of who browsed, as well as bought.

Agreed, would be nice to know how many people came by.
