Thread: Buying your stock through your vendor beware!
I've been buying spices over the past 2 weeks (got a sweet bulk deal from a friendly smuggler) and using my vendors to complete the deals. The spices would be offered to my vendor and I would pick them up periodically at my shop. That's how the whole vendor/merchant thing is supposed to work - right? lol
Well I got a tell from my supplier tonight - just after I had picked up the new stock. Guess what? He never got his money! I paid 100k for the items (money was withdrawn from my account). I retrieved the items to resell. I got confirmation emails that the items had been purchased by me. My supllier got emails that the items were purchased, but he got nothing in return. Now I have an extremely annoyed supplier who is out 100k and is warning everyone not to use vendors for selling wares. And I've probably lost a spice supplier.
