if you have a TEF, u can't trade.. until the TEF has faded.. last about 10 mins after the final attack.

Yes -- they REALLY REALLY need to add some sort of indicator that shows you have a TEF on you, because so many people don't realize how many ways they can get one. Like doing factional destroy missions, healing overt faction members, etc etc etc.

Was in the cantina with a person who had this problem last night, and nobody could figure out the cause. Does the TEF "chain" maybe? For example, what if Player A has a TEF because he just did a factional destroy mission, say. Then Player B heals Player A. Does Player B get a TEF?

Does being Covert restrict the ability to trade withother factions. IF so why, doesn't seem to make sense to me, what kinda spy would allow his cover to be blown so easily.

Yes. It spreads like a virus. If you have a TEF and trade with me I get a TEF too. You can trade with me because we are on the same faction. However prior to me giving you a few berries to help you out I was safely covert and afterwards I'm DEAD!

Any idea what the duration of a "viral TEF" is? For example, assuming a TEF in general lasts 10 minutes (do we know this, or what the actual number is?), and you pass a TEF to me along with those berries, does my TEF operate on your TEF's "clock," or do I get a freshly restarted "clock?"

Or in other words, say you traded with me 8 minutes after getting your TEF in the first place. Does my TEF last 2 minutes or 10?
