Thread: Why is my Bulky Machine Vendor SOOO Expensive to Maintain?
I rarely have over 50 items on my vendor, yet it can run me 3k a day in maintenence.
Why is it so expensive?

This is a pretty common question so I am surprised you didnt see the answer already in another thread.
But in a nutshell ... vendors charge maintenance based on the value of the items stored on them ... something like 1% of the value of the items for sale per hour.
However, most serious merchants upgrade to NPC vendors since their maintenance is bugged at only 1 credit a day. So either level to at least novice merchant to get th NPC vendor option ... or bite the bullet and pay.
It's going to be interesting when SOE finally fixes the NPC vendor bug.
