If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to see it... 
I think Tiggs said it was:
1. Equiping a Saber
2. Unequiping a Saber
3. Using a Saber in Combat
3. Using Force Powers
within 32 meters of any player character or non-player character.
Of course we all know that what they tell us isn't always right

At what distance are you safe to use the lightsaber and force powers, greater than 32 meters from npc's and real people?

the npcs and players have to be within 32meters while you are using force or have your saber equiped. You should read the jedi FAQ stickied at the top. Very helpful reference for questions just like this one.

32m is the Stated distance visibility is generated.

closest i got to an npc was100m, but i ended up on the bh terms

my question is, what about those bastards that spawn ontop of your mission, after you've been attacking it? i know you get visibilty for being seen, but what about accidently hitting them visibilty for that or only for killing them?

Personally, from everything I have seen in game and read on the forums... the visibility fix is complete BS... I know many Jedi who havent been anywhere near an npc or pc (nope, no buffs either) with or without saber or robes, and still ended up on the terms. I have also talked to numerous jedi who have reverted to old skills to hunt (TK, whatever) and ended up on the terms with their sabers and robes in the bank lol.... so the point is still the same... if your a jedi, your on the terms randomly regardless of what you do...

Admitted, that hasn't happened to me yet. But another Jedi told me he accidentally has killed 2 NPC with LS so far (after viz fix and reset). He did have numerous BH encounters before the reset, but those two kills haven't been punished by a BH so far. So I assume the threshold for getting on terms is fairly high (now). Lots of BH complain about almost empty terminals, so I doubt he managed to slip through somehow.
Which brings me to another point: I read about many Jedi that manage to avoid terms, at least since the reset. So either it is working now. Or it is royally messed up beyond imagination.

i just crafted my first saber but im not padawan yet do i gain visibility as initiate?
