D.
I accept the fact that some limits need to be put in place. But those limits need to represent the profession that would be affected worst by the proposed change... tailors. I'm also picking D instead of C because I'm still incredibly bullsh1t that the morons in charge of design put forth such a ridiculously lowball figure.

C)
However.... I would like to have had an option for an aggrigate limit to be tallied across all my vendors.

The categories are a bit too broad in the critical range for me.
500 would be acceptable, 450 would be barely tolerable, and 300 would be an outright disaster.
Yet all of them fall into choice C. I'll vote for C, but I don't want it to be misunderstood that this means 300 would be OK. It wouldn't. 450 would probably be the lowest possible acceptable figure we could take (my spouse and I).
If it's 449 or less, we'll close the majority of our nine accounts. If it's 450 or higher, we'll stay.
With that caveat, cast a vote for C.
(They'd also darn well better throw us a bone regarding time limits on listings and item expiration in the stockroom...)

I wish you had asked folks to disclose their templates (especially merchant templates) and approx. number of items and type of items on their vendors when you did this poll. Because I don't know how to tell the folks who just want to keep their storage items from the large scale merchants. Come to think of it we would also need to know how many items they sell per week.
I'm not saying that everyone isn't entitled to an opinion. I would just like to know where folks are coming from. I can even imagine that there might be folks with a large business on 6 vendors, vacation coming up, lots of OT at work, and no merchant skills. This person would probably need unlimited and a friend to store items as he or she regrinds merchant.

For all the real merchants out there....please consider this.....
What you need to understand is that for Merchant to be valuable as a skill, it must be a limited skill.
If one merchant can stock unlimited wares, then you only need one merchant per guild for instance. One merchant guy can sell all the crafters' wares.
Only when the ability to place items on a vendor is scarce does it have value.
Merchants will get a larger slice of the retail pie the FEWER slots are available on each vendor. If it's unlimited, then what the merchant contributes is just the stocking work which is often not much work at all. If it's limited, merchants must be seen by crafters as also contributing the opportunity cost of stocking something else when the merchant stocks that crafter's wares.
Only by constrainingthe merchant skill is it given value.
As far as the poll is concerned, I see it skewed by a biased sample. It isn't even a Correspondent's poll. I think plenty of folks vote once per account in polls such as these. And I see nothing wrong with that.

I go for D, because like amizar, I'm not fond of mind games. If SOE gave EVEN A LITTLE meaningful communication instead of trying to play these tricks on the population, this game would be a lot better for everyone.
Will probably end up where C is though, since so many people are now willing to settle for something that will just cripple and not kill.

How will you be crippled by the limits in C?
This is not a discussion thread Joined42904, please take that to other threads.
