I hope this is the spark of a great change of feedback/dev agreement, weve had some rough times, but i think it is time to settle our differences

I like Sepen's suggestion having a pin code. That would probably be a much easier solution (and easier to implement for develpers) than locking it to a specific buyer. Actually a better solution because that will allow you to send someone else picking up your order.
Please don't make bags visible without any other change to handle cisyom order. I use bags because the contents is not visible.

Hi,
I like the bags on the vendors. I have customers ask me for customs jobs and sometimes our online schedule doesnt match. The sachels and backpacks were perfect for a customer to pick up because no1 else would buy them if they didnt know what was in the bag. I do understand why the decision was made about removing bags from vendors. However, it is the buyers fault to purchase a bag withouth knowing the reputation of the crafter or reseller, it is bad judgement on the buyers part to do so. If I could have it my way I would just wait until the contents of bags will show on the vendors... heh but that will never happen. just my 2 cents.

Sorry Sony, I don't think this is a good solution. As stated before, the % of people "ripped off" by a merchant is miniscule compared to the GOOD merchants out there trying to make pick ups easier on their customers. As usual, you are catering to the minority of whiners (who probably were buying bags not theirs in the first place and then re-naming them before they turned in their CSR ticket complaining of rip-off)
This solves the vendors ripping off customers trouble, but will not solve the random customers buying someone elses order problem. Since anyone who happens upon my special order vendor will now be able to peer into the special order bags I place there, they have an easier time, all they have to do is wp the vendors they know to carry grouped items, and make the rounds. Instead, it will now be much harderto put together a nice bio engineered outfit or a great pet or a set of matching armor and give someone a break on the price. I know it doesn't matter that I name the bag "<Name>'s Order"... now imo, peering into order bags with high prices will be even MORE of a problem on private vendors!!!
I have had it happen where I was online and got mail of a sale. I checked the mail right then, and saw that someone had bought an order not meant for them - it might have beenan alt or a friend come to pick it up - but I still sent a tell, asking them about it... The person claimed that they had clicked "buy" in error and how could theysellit back to me....
When you double click on a bag on a vendor, an examine window comes up - I am pretty certain this shows how many items are in the bag... if that does not happen now, make it so! That would be an easier solution than making theft from merchants easier!!!
Making the number of items IN a bag count toward the vendor limit is not a bad idea, that should deter people from using vendors as storage. Items IN a bag count towards our house and inventory total, this seems like it would be an easy fix.

then again you're a DE not an armorsmith.

I'd really like them find a better way for selling groups of items, and custom orders.
Do you also advocate removing a splinter with a chain saw? Because that's exactly what a "fix" like this would have been equivolent to had the devs not listened to the player community. They can solve that problem as well when they so choose without resorting to drastic measures.
Relax Ackis........I'm sure you'll live thru this one.

WOW thank you thank you thank you!!! I havent had any problems with special orders being stolen but then I am just a regular master armorsmith (no extra exp tapes *cries*). It has been convient for my customers tho to put whole orders in one backpack for them. Making them viewable be nice too though. When buying clothes (which I do often) , it is frustrating trying to run thro whole vendor for matching outfit hehe. Would be nice if they found way to do group selling on vendor or tailors could do the bag thing too when its viewable.
