I have5 vendors total

One - has over 250 items with all my resources in it totaling 45 MILLION, that is only at 3 cpu max most is 2 cpu.

Two - has about 165 items with all droid items, batteries, heal packs, droids, paint kits so on.

Three - has about300 items with droid and weapons on it on a different planet.

Four - has over1200 items ALL LOOT ITEMS that sells at least 100 items per day. All for cheap prices.

Five - only 40 back packs, all packs have 50 items in it, this is my storage vendor WITH EVERYTHING I OWN WORTH EASY -

20 MILLION - in armor weapons crystals furniture harvesters loot kits ( ie rugs gongs ya know) Loot galore that is 2000 ITEMS

There is no way i have any room any where for all this stuff. ALMOST 4000 ITEMS

SOE what am I suppose to do? You told us this was an ok policy to use these vendors like this. Now some of us stand to lose Millions of credits worth of items. At the risk of sounding cliche - I have no idea what im going to do and there is a strong possiblity of leaving this game do to the nerfing and our personal loss of items.

Here is the ironic part. Where is all this stuff going to go. Im not talking about the loss now. Who is suppose to take it. Think about it if i sell it someone else has it. That means the totla number of items is still the same just not with me. when you lower the total number of items you bring the product to a lower level..

Supply and demand if supply is up cost is down. OMG simple economics. If supply is low price goes way up.

Please dear God tell me you DEVS covered stuff like this in college.

My alt has max vendors.

1.) Ranged and Heavy weapons - usually 80-120 items. let's round it at 100

2.) powerups. at least 200 crates when I stock it (I stock, then let it run down to 20-30 crates then re-stock)

3.) sliced weapons. about 60-70 items, as I usually pitch any weapon with less than a 25% slice

4.) my wifes furnture vendor. 200 items.

5.) my wifes structure vendor. 20-30 items

6.) city auction vendor. anywhere from 10-100 items.

So at most between 6 vendors I'm running between 390 and 530 items. My wife and I have more than enough money to buy just about anything we want or need from the amount of business my Alt, and her Architect do.

I hate to dismiss the nay sayers, but the impression I get is "If I can't make 100 million a week, I'm quitting"

After spending 3 years dirt poor in DAOC, I'm very happy with the combined wealth of about 30 million between the three acounts my wife and I have. yeah, if I wanted to buy something dumb, I could be broke in a flash, but our house maintainence is paid, I have good weapons, and a full suit of BH armor.

After a certain point, does it matter if you have 50 milllion or 500 million?

I'd say if you have 100 million or more, you could easily scale back your operations and still have more than enough in game credits to lead a very nice in game life for a long time.

I would usually carry about 1000 items on 3 vendors, but I'm letting my stock sell down some so it is currently lower than that.

Master merchant, using all 6 of my vendors.

Three are in my shop. I sell 30 different food items in singles, fives, and full crates. Total is usually about 1200 items, or 400 per vendor.

I also run vendors for two crafters who have no business skill. One is an architect with about 400 harvesters in stock at a time. The other is a small-time bioengineer who maxes out at about 50 items. The sixth vendor is a bartender in a RP cantina. She sells drinks and munchies just for the fun value, and averages about 75 items.

I have never used vendors for storage, as all mine are busy doing their intended jobs, and I consider it unprofessional and an impediment to the shopping experience of my customers.

Total items: 1725. Average per vendor: 290. Max on any one vendor: about 550.

I have over 2000 items on my 6 vendors. Most of the items are focused on 3 of the six, one of which i have to use for storage. Anybody ever add up the number of single stacks an AS would need to make every suit of armor in the AS skill tree? Guess what, its more than any house item limit will hold, and thats not including the components...

I currently have about 750 items on 5 vendors.

Pharmacy at 165 isa little lower than I'd like it to be. I sell meds made by myself and a guildmate without any business skill to place his own vendor. And we sell buffpacks sets in travel packs so i'm assuming the packs count as one item.

Resources and Loot at 63 carries extra resources I no longer need as well as loot items from myself, my husband and the guildmate I sell meds for. I would expect this to increase as a couple of guildmates will probably be losing their vendors due to the upcoming changes but with the proposed limits I won't have room for their stuff. I also sell matched sets of loot drop items, like armor shards, scales, etc. in packs as well.

Artisan at 201 is about it's usual amount. As a master artisan I like to keep a good selection of basic artisan items available. It's one of the reasons I decided to become an artisan/merchant, I got tired of people asking where to find basic stuff all the time. I've also got a selection of powerups on here which is not as extensive as i'd like.

Souvenir shop at 65 items is about it's usual complement. We have a vendor tent set up as a souvenir stand. Although not a real money-maker it's a lot of fun and has got lot's of compliments from people. I sell candy, souvenirs and fireworks and have a hard time keeping fireworks in stock so I should probably keep more on there.

Guild vendor is set up in a house in town with access fee as a way of making items and resources readily available for trade among guildmembers. This one currently has about 250 items but fluctuates as people pick up stuff at times.

I picked up merchant with the intent of becoming our guild merchant. We have a BE Iexpect will beneeding someone to sell stuff soon, as well as a couple others with loot itemsbut with the proposed limits I won't have any vendor space left after my current meds, artisan and misc. items.
