Currently I have 8 vendors up. 2 added today... out of the 8, I have 2 that are registered on the planetary map. 3 others are on the same planet not showing on the map. (one of which is a new vendor) On another planet the old vendor and the new vendor are both not showing on the map.
The two that show are in a player cantina, 3 others on the same planet are in a merchant tent, and the 2 on the other planet are in a medium house.
The 2 that show on the map are in the player city, however I see many vendors that arent in a player city showing on the planetary map.
The two vendors that are showing are:
Human female NPC (Player city, Naboo, Player Cantina Structure).
The ones that aren't showing are:
Three Ithorians(2 near Theed in a merchant tent, 1 near Mos Eisley in a medium Tatooine house)
One devaronian (Mos Eisley, medium Tatooine house)
One Twiliek female(Theed, merchant tent)
One small terminal.(Mos Eisley, medium Tatooine house )

The two that show are in a player cantina, 3 others on the same planet are in a merchant tent, and the 2 on the other planet are in a medium house.

Ok..lets go at it another way. Someone suggested that all the vendors that were on the map seemed to be in PA halls.
Lets follow up on that a bit. Anyone have anything to refute that suggestion?
Yeah Doc I can refute that all of my vendors were registered and show up on the map today. 4 of them in merchant tents and another one in our city cantina. None are in a PA hall.

Same here, 3 vendors, all in small houses, 1 not in a player city, 2 used to be in a player city, but now it's an outpost, so I'm not sure if I'm in the boundary anymore. All have stock, all are paid, all are registered and do not show up.

Same thing tried creating new vendors they dont show up either

Ok here is a funny bug. My vendors share a tent with a retired merchant (whos vendors are empty he has long stopped selling and plays very rarely now) my vendors that great folks are now greeating his dead vendors this causes quite a bit of spam.

Ok I am having the same issues. None of my vendors are showing up
I am a Master Merchant, 5 Vendors out
2 in a PA Hall and 3 In a Small house
I have Unregistered/Reregistered
Dropped Merchant 3 levels and relearned it (just in Case)
Created new vendor
Unstocked (partial) and restocked
New outfit.
Removed maintance and then replaced it
One weird thing though. All of my waypoints are showing up without being activated. All of my factories are listed on my map. Don't remeber that before, kinda annoying.

7 vendors, none showing up on the map. All have maintenance paid, all 100% condition, all have stock. Unregistered and reregistered, no help.
Six vendors are in a player city, one is not.
Six are on Dantooine, one is on Corellia.
Four of the vendors are pre-patch vendors, three are post-patch.
Five of the vendors are NPCs (1 Twi'lek, 3 Wookiees, 1 Rodian), two are terminals (bazaar style).
Six vendors in a small Naboo style 2, one vendor in a merchant tent.
Forgot to mention, I've been by to "load" the vendors too, so that's not the problem.
Sure is nice to know the few vendors left on the map DO have stock, though.

Didnt have time to read every page so apologies if this has been said all ready. My vendors and my guild buds vendors are in a guild hall and in a player city. We too are not on map. Tried registering/unregistering and checked maintennance too.

My character is a Master Merchant.
My vendors registered before the patch are not showing up on the map.
I tried to un-register and re-register. They still don't show up.
I dropped a test vendor, paid 100cr, put 2 items on it, registered.It does not show up on the map.
Un-registered and re-registered it. Even made sure it was listed in the category of an item loaded into it. Still not showing up.

YEah, I dropped a new vendor next to an older one that barks a greeting, and the old vendor barked at the new vendor.
