I don't think that is the main reason for the item cap.


First of all, what reason do you have to be a master merchant? None right now. Not to keep master merchant at least. Most folks I know got enough merchant to get the vendors they needed, then dropped it. I kept all my merchant because I like to use my merchant barking droid. I can understand a item limit for the level of merchant you are. I can NOT understand a limit this low. 110 items for a master merchant? What good is the "next page" button for? Might as well rename it to "next 10 items".


Second of all, if you put a backpack with 25 items on a vendor, does it count as 1 item (the backpack) or 25 items (what is IN the backpack)? IF it is only counted as 1 item, what is to stop people from still doing this? Other than needing Business III.


I also have a feeling that the database admins are to blame. They probably thought "Hey, lets kill two birds with one stone here. Give people a reason to master merchant AND shrink the database size!". I bet someone got a raise for that idea.

Well if they count a bag on a vendor as 25 (cause of how many items is niside of it ) . Will they also count the crates as more than 1? 25 AUK's for a crate ? 10 pups for a crate?



Do we think they will know the difference and code it right or screw it up

These limits are simply not accectable. I'm a Master Weaponsmith/Master Artisan and 4/4/4/4 Merchant who is also the Mayor of city on Tatooine. My powerups vendor on a good day has over 200 items on it. Not to mention I have big triangle(Naboo, Corellia and Tatooine) covered for vendors. I can't be out of the city every day for hours on end trying to fill my vendors. Seems to me that they should increase the number of vendors we are allowed to have at Master Merchant if they are going to hard cap the items. I would also like to see a way to package items together (backpacks don't work very well, nobody knows what's in them. ) I would love to be able to sell a Laser Carbine with a Repair Kit and 5 crates of powerups as a package deal to my customers and have it count as one item.

I know what my ad barking droid is going to spamming in Coronet now, "Merchant Nerf coming, go to www.starwarsgalaxies.com select merchant boards and post a complaint. 110 items a vendor limit will kill the economy!!"

everyone ive talked to ingame is simply going to stop crafting...


when you cant get weapons and armor anymore ... then what?

A raise? He's probably going to head of the team!A raise wouldnt be enough for something this stupid. I think whoever came up with this should get a swift kick in the ass instead. You think its hard finding anything now just wait until you try and find something that requires more than one thing like a full set of composite armor if this crap goes through.Crafters can forget about doing any other profession too because they have to spend all their time keeping the vendor stocked. With as much stuff that can be made with one crafting profession, forcing them to have master merchant or spend a lot of extra skill points to be able to sell it all at more than one crate on a vendor at a time is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, unless you want to give us more skill points that is. Another thing, dont you think its a bad idea when the most common thing you see in the posts are**edit**?
