I had anywhere between 1 and 4 people checking vendors every 10 minutes at night and while they were at work. More friends or guildies you have willing to do this for you the less time it will take to get through Merchant.

I just waited personally and I couldn't tell you how long it's taken because I'm almost master and had my mind on other things over the past few weeks... It wasn't painfull, in fact it was a blessing to see xp ticking in on a regular basis while I was out doing other things, strangely enough I consider that better than any macro.. The fact you don't need to do anything but put a bit of cash in your vendors to master this profession and the fact people still want to macro it and spend time figuring it out makes me giggle.. Alot..
I mean, if the profession xp is gained passively to the point where you can just carry on doing anything else you want and still master why is it still a hastle, and why bother at all to macro it ..? You can even go asleep and still gain.. Sorry if this was anywhere close to a flame, it wasn't meant to be, just pointing out my concearns.

/macro HaveCakeAndEatIt;
I didn't read it as a flame...
I saved Artisan Elites for last. I was gathering resources to use. However, the skill points being used for Merchant were not able to be spent doing other things. I can appreciate the relaxed attitude and I also understand the difficulties true merchants are having with their profession. As with all the others I have gone through, I will totally drop Merchant without using any "exploited" vendors on my way out.
Now that Merchant is done... a few hours on chef, a few hours on Tailor and when I am stir crazy from crafting, Pike and TK are still on the list as well.
Good luck to all!
Whilst having no time for the hologrinder, if you set yourself up as someone who knows how to use English then you should make sure you use it correctly yourself. ![]()
Youyou are probably a middle school drop out judging from your lack of grammar. On another note. If you claim your you're a mature adult, then you wouldn't care or joke about what you said. What do you have against gays? What have they ever done to you? You deserve to be slapped, you perverted child
