For all of you that are wondering what are the parameters for a vendor to be deleted, the following may help:

SOE says: You need to have maintenance and items on the vendor, and check it at least every week.

SOE apparently means: All of the above, PLUS at least one other player must also browse your vendor's stock.

I lost a vendor yesterday that had clearly met the first part of this requirement, as reported in the following thread in this forum: "Untouched" Vendor deletion should be top priority! . However, since it sold factory crates of StimPacks, no one had visited it for a while. This has happened to Dollie too, as reported in her thread in this forum.

Yep, this is an insane, game-breaking boondoggle, yet another great idea from someone in SOE. Hopefully it will be rethought soon.

Browsing doesn't work. I had a customer looking for something specific on one of m y vendors. When he couldn't find it I checked to see if it was there.A minutelater I got the untouched vendor email.

Unfortunately, part of the confusion is that we don't know if those emails are accurate or not until they are followed by a vendor deletion.

Until this issue is resolved, that is the only thing I have been using my extra vendors for. Made a bunch, and named them all "experimental test subject".

In my mind, that is the worst insult you could possible have said about the merchant class. hehe

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Is the beta testing almost over for this game?

Please understand that insult is for the developers concept of our class and not us.
