Well, I deleted one vendor, now I'm under my cap of 3. Still couldn't stock anything, the system said I had too many to manage.Yesterday, upon server restart, they all worked fine. YAY! I can restock again!
Today, after server restart, I log in, to find out that AGAIN, I have too many vendors to manage. *sigh*

Doc,
My vendor limits seem to be inaccurate. It doesn't reflect my skill level towards the number of limits.
I have had this problem since they fixed the last patch.

Yea that seems to be a common problem. Not happening to everyone though so I'm not sure what the common denominator is on these cases. They are aware of the issue. I don't have an update for when it will be fixed yet. There might be a fix on TC that is supposed to address this but I"m not sure.

Doc my weekend was literally filled with nigh a hundred pissed off merchants because the transferstructure command still will not work on a structure with vendors.
One mall is losing a player soon to deployment and we need to get that structure transferred over. You and I both know that CSRs are just gonna tell us to pack sand if he's gone. There are 26 vendors in that hall and upwards of 34,000 items on sale.
In my city, I have 5 people with vendors in tents that I was holding for them unable to take possession of their tents as there is nowhere for them to put their stock while moving.

Nostructure can be transferred with a vendor anymore..............!!!!!!!!
I have a PA hall with 30 vendors inside that needs to be transferred..........

Dont know if anyone else is aware of this. Now you cant trasfer a house with a vendor in side. You have to destroy the house or pull the vendor to transfer house. This is gonn aeffect our mall in a major way when its lot holder moves to eq2 when he plans... he cant jsut transfer it. We also run housing and rent the houses ... now they cant be trasfered and help for merchants... i sent ina ticket csr said he sees no bug that it must be new active feature...

Tiggs confirmed for me a couple of days ago that this is a bug. We don't know when it will be fixed but at least it isn't desired behaviour and has a chance of getting resolved some time in the near future.

Doc your doing a great job, but you might want to express the urgency of this particular issue. If you start having folks lose 20 to 30 vendors in towns, and upwards of 30000 items, then you're going to see ghost towns, and crafters might soon pack up. Noone could recover easily from the loss of all their vendors and stock. The urgency of this needs to be expresssed to the devs. I'm not in danger of this but I see it as a serious problem in a player driven economy.

Not being able to transfer a house with vendors in it can be a real game ender folks. We need to let them know just how serious this is. For those of you in malls, what happens if the owner needs to quit, or worse yet,reroll? You will all need to remove your vendors before the building can be transferred. I'm in that very situation right now. My shop was temporarily transferred to someone else's account in an emergency and now I cant get it back. We've already been through a near cancellation and I am now paying for that person's account. Please devs, address this issue as soon as possible.

I agree totally... this is a VERY serious issue. I also have a small market which was temporarily put in someone elses hands. That person no longer wants to hold the lots. If I would have known that /transferstructure was not going to be available, I would have had it transferred back before this patch went live.
There are many people in game that are having this problem.. and many of them don't post on the boards. It's causing a lot of problems for people who need to do this and can't or don't have the storage to be able to move and start again.
It REALLY needs to be addressed. This person is considering leaving the game... and if that happens, I am not going to be a happy camper.

As others have stated there is a weee issue with vendors showing up on the map like they should have. Here's my contribution to the mess.
When the server restarts, until someone enters a structure with the vendor in question, it will not make it onto the world map vendor listing. Its like until its been loaded graphically, it doesn't exist to the world. This issue also affects the local ctrl-m overlay map.
I'm looking at the world map to talus (eclipse server). Its shortly after the servers have come back up from their restart. Where there should be a good dozen equipment vendors on the world map, there are two. I can then walk into my store, once the vendor loads graphically (don't even need to interact with it, no checking inventory, not even so much as targeting it, just need to see it), can then check the world map and it will be listed as it should in the appropriate vendor catagory, can then walk outside of my shop, and see my vendor listed properly in the city overlay ctrl-m mode as well.
This can be detrimental to getting businesses the attention they need to keep functional as the game now penalizes vendors who don't get used, if it is also not helping people find the vendors to use them then its not going to help anyone.

I actually noticed this one after pub 9 but merchant signs on guild halls (at least generic and corellian ones) are sunk into the front of the structure rather than sitting on toplike they should. They're all sunk in about the distance of the height of the base of the big orange round sign (#1). Pre-9 they all sat on top like they should.
Also, I forget if it's the Corellian or the Generic (I can never tell them apart by looking but I think its the generic) small round-ish house still won't hold a merchant sign properly. It just sits off in space. One of the two works fine, the other is broken. I just can't remember which is which.

Vendor's are not showing up on map after restart. Has been happening the last week. I am 3-4-0-0 Merchant.
