I do love this idea. Expecially since the Planetary Ad dosnt work like it should. Sure you have to go outside the game to find a shop, but you will find what you are looking for.

I do like the map popup as well. Really nice feature. And the logos just add that extra touch.

Great concept! I especially like the "let your AT-ST do the walking" graphic logo.

Acouple ofsuggestions:

1.Your pop-up map (veryslick!)needs an activelink back to the main site page.

2. It would be courteous to spell out to visitors whether your site uses cookies. What with all the recent concern over viruses and worms, being up-front with visitors about how your site interacts with their browser and computer will earn you a lot of trust. It's worth taking the few minutes required to add the fine print to your main page.

Overall, very well done so far!

all the bugs mentioned in this thread (along with others we came across) have been fixed..

as you can probably tell, i'm a little more than just some guy who came across the site.. lets just say that im involved with its creation.. i apologize for the deception, but im fully aware of the initial spam factor of some dude running around promoting his own site.. i knew this site had potential, and i didn't want to risk screwing it up..

ANYways.. the site now handles multiple shops per vendor, hyphens in user names (don't know how i forgot that in the first place)... and i've also fixed a bug/exploit that someone used to erase a bunch of listings sunday or monday night...

as for your suggestions flatfingers

• the map is supposed to open in a new window, going back to the main page should require just closing the map window.. if your map isn't coming up in a new window, i'm guessing you're using netscape or mozilla, those sorts of issues will be addressed later


• the site doesn't use any cookies or anything fancy other than some very minimal javascript and an iframe..
