Yes, this is quite a stupid move. Why waste all those points to be advertized on a map, when everyone will now be stopping at the local Bazaar? Set up and dress your Vendors as you like then drop to 0004. I actually have been wondering why I was Master Merchant for the last two months, but never dropped it thinking that maybe you would need master to be searchable. Oh well. Picking up some other combat tomorrow now with my extra points.

actually my main vendor is in the best mall on the server and I regularly pull 3-5m/day from it alone so I'm safe. If you have a tent out in the middle of nowwhere you might be in trouble though....
