and /tell eq2.server.character message
/addfriend works the same way
Yeah think I cut that part off when coping from my notepad

Bad thing about /addfriend tho is, that if you want to remove them again, you have to remember their server name etc... and type it correctly.. You can just do /remove "name".
Slightly annoying
well not for EQ2 and SWG, you can select the name in the friend window and 'remove' or 'delete' it can't you?
didn't stay on EQ2 long enough to make my friends list there. I'll steal bob's account and check it.
and of course cross game and server tells is when alias' are you best freind.
EDIT: And before i foget, server name is doubly important for EQ2...people can have the same name on different servers.
I have Oracle on several servers myself (she is just a vendor drone, much in the fashion of the EQ bazaar mule)
{you can have up to 10 toons on EQ2 all on same server if you want..man i want that for SWG....}

You can have that on SWG too.
...it'll just cost you $150/mo.
yeah we just whittled downn four accounts into two {we both had two each, 1 with jtl 1 without, I now run the JTL ones}
watched SWG get sucked under the Station Access unbrella that was in place for the four extra toons you get on EQ2
{basic accounts got four, folks with SA got 8}
watched me not be able to play my secondary account if he plays his main, and vice versa,
because you can only play one game under the same login (even if they are diff games!)
and then watched SOE add another 2 toons to all accounts for EQ2
Giving him 20 to play and me a possible four onlyif I went combat to do Jed-i. ![]()

I dont see any part of the vendor search that they "changed" from what everyone was complaining about in the first place. Its like they said "okay we will go rebuild it, sorry we screwed it up, we will make it right and something you all can agree with *whispers* ... psst hey bob ... just take it off the live list for a few weeks so they will forget about it then we can reintroduce it once the waves have settled without having to change a thing ... " I mean come on ppl!!! Woo hoo ... they removed the timers from cosmetic ID session ... what about the other stuff that ID's need ... A FREAKING SALON? Make us part of society maybe ... oh wait, we arent combat so I guess we dont matter.So anyway, screw this game. Im sick of sitting around voicing my opinions when they dont listen to the ppl who sign their paychecks.Later. Love to you all ... be good ... take care ... cunch their balls a bit and get it done.Laurn
SWG is weeding out the good ones, it seems. That ought to leave us with a nice retarded game. Sorry to see you go, LaurnaRose.
explain to me exactly how afk playstyle is encouraged in eq2 as i dont see any way at all to afk in the game other than when you are selling wares ... you cannot combat afk AT ALL in this game as opposed to swg ... and rather than continually breaking merch and leaving it bugged all the time, they just give it as a free skill ... so you have to be online and in your house to sell ... big freaking deal. I just have one toon that i designate as my merchant and drop all the stuff im wanting sold into shared bank, have merch char pic it up and go back to the house, list /afk and go to bed. Its not that hard,and the game is a lot smoother, better graphics, better story, better quest system, better grouping, just overall better. Im really really enjoying it. My priest (ano)is already a lvl 20 Warden (Priest/Druid/Warden - healer and some magic damage).

I came from EQ to SWG
I paused SWG to try EQ2
I will continue to play SWG
And BTW if you want to sell in EQ2,
it means your own toon stands in their house doing nothing except perhaps chat...
There are no vendors to cuss about and AFK playstyle is encouraged.

Sure you are no longer in just one zone, you are set in your own instance of living quaters, but you are still running your comp while AFK to vend.
I do not believe in any AFK play-if it aint afk to bio or to do something very quickly inRL {throw clothes in dryer, answer door/phone, grab food} Thenlog out!
which is why I play SWG and do not like that it is turning into EQ/EQ2
