Thread: Merchant Correspondant (Week 4)
Not sure if anyone mentioned this ..I left items in a vendor and in a vendors storage then deleted the vendor... the items still appear as items in the region stockroom on my other vendors although they cannot be retrieved in any way.

This is an old, old issue. Sorry that it has bitten you, too. Best bet is to open a ticket now and hope a CSR comes to reimburse you. Make a detailed list of the items that you had listed & the price you were selling them at and put the list in your ticket.
When this problem happened to me, the items disappeared from my stockroom before a CSR was able to help me. Luckily, I was able to get a full reimbursement after about 2 or 3 weeks. I hope it doesn't take you that long - hopefully they will get you taken care of quickly.
Actually strikke i have another ticket for something really serious and since they limited them to 1 each Ireally can't. Although I expect i'll never hear from anyone on the other ticket anyway. But I really dont care about the items and getting them or money ... that sI have lots of ... I just would like them removed as they bug the hell outta me ...hehe

Mar, all clothing is now listed as 'unidentified object' or something like that....i pulled off all the items off my vendor (we're talking about 200....eep) and then relisted them hoping they would then sort into the wonderful categories...but they don't. Now people come to my shop and see nothing except the few new items when I have 100's sitting in the 'all' category not being viewed.
The category thing is great btw...and would be great as a tailor to just pick a category and say "hmm...do i need to stock boots today? How is my dress stock?" but currently I cannot do this since they will not sort.
Got the Vendors barking to look under the 'all' category as a fix, but not sure they do that when im offline.../cry
MANY MANY times this weke soemoen ahs bought something and teh seocdn they cross a zone line (to diffenrt sevrer space) the item disappears. When the cross back over teh zone line the item re-appears. Sounds like a realy bad database issue wehre new items retived from a vendor are not saved to a charters file right away and it takes the database maintnce to catch this and fix it..
But I cant run a business when everytime someone busy soemthing I have to tell them wait until tomorrow for teh item to return.
This is happing to clothing, Funiture and weapons that I knwo of and god knows what else.

You can add this as a comment to your ticket. CSR are supposed to resolve ALL your issues at once.
To fix the 'unknown item' issue with clothes, you have to withdraw the sales, retrieve the items, and then relist them (you can't relist them from the stockroom or it won't update their category). I had to do it, and yes, it sucks very much badly. But it will fix it.
I'm starting to wonder if it wouldnt just be cheaper, less hectic, and all around better to just pay someone else for any clothes I might want...fighting monsters seems to be more fun and more rewarding than fighting resource shifts, buggy harvesters, factories, and vendors. I never sell anything but fiberpanels and synth cloth recently, anyway.
