This is good news?

Merchants should pay increased fees for vendors that still don't work?

Fix the entire Merchant skill tree first, THEN raise the fees.

And anyway, until it goes live, and I see EXACTLY how much more I'll be paying, I'm not thanking anyone for anything.

Gotta watch these guys like a hawk, I'm tellin ya.

Great News...kind of...

1. They are not going to drive half the playerbase out of the game...good

2. They have confirmed our fears that they are blowing smoke and it was a change for the sake of the database..not good

3. They have abused out trust over and over..Not good at all

4. They have shown a total lack of understanding of the player base...very bad

Now..In the time before beta..I found a website on the development of a new game...SWG...they DEV would tell us what was going on and shoot straight....they would ask for our input and we felt like we mattered...now..fast forward 2 years...

We are all victims of the4 p's Piss Poor Poor Project Planning....so now we are all victims of the DATABASE and the resulting NERFEST it has made for us ALL

but...here is the good part...every time someone changes anything we assume the following

1. The DEV are covering for the DATABASE

2. The DATABASE rules all

3. The DEV are in CYA mode over the whole thing (COVER YOUR BACKSIDE)

Now since we all knew this was DATABASE related...and it is now comfirmed....here is there solution

TELL THE *&^*&^ TRUTH....build some trust and do the following....

1. NERF the simple stuff...ban CDEFS/melons/non-buff junk items/etc

2. Give us players a guide on HOW TO HELP THE DATABASE

On number two...let us know the best way to take a load off the Database and we all can help you...IF YOU ASK...

Now...last but not least...give us a small letter on the Database that covers the following:

1. Why we designed it this way 250k server and a 5k database shared between all of them

2. Tell us what hardware changed you are making to fix the screw up

3. Tell us the name of the guy who said that this DATABASE was a good idea..JK(JUST KIDDING)

Final point...if you said please delete all your junk and help us out I could destroy 50 items...ASAP...or if you want give a reward like the junk dealer for this crap that serves no purpose....andNERF the artisan class ....remove the CDEF's and other items that nobody uses...but they make tons of to grind for exp...

Hope you read and follow this advise...

How to get the worthless stuff off the bazaar vendors? I do not agree to nerf the artisan trade. It was hard enough getting through it. I hope new artisans are cross training in other fields early on to help make extra money. Money through low level missions is more dependable than waiting for someone to purchase worthless CDEF ranged weapons, dice, plain shirts, etc.

New artisans need to focus on personal harvesters as they get the skill, and go sell resources. To encourage artisans not to clog up the bazaar with grind items, maybe a slightly higher 'practice rate' for exp pts would work. Many newbies are unaware of some of the problems starting out, so I think many of these issues are just a result of trial and error in the business world.

The efficiency skill that saves a token 4 or 6 credits on selling on the bazaar could be placed in the artisan business skill tree. The efficiency skills in merchant then can be overhauled to be, well, more efficient! Make it worth the skill points. Ideas I have mentioned were an added number of bazaar slots, higher price ceiling cap, etc.

The CDEF Weapons are NOT useless! They are the only firearms for artisans without the marksman profession.
