Which part of what we wrote did you not understand?
We both said the same thing.
We both answered your question.
I'm not sure how it can be explained any more clearly.

Yes, your vendors should still hold it.

You ruined it
don't initalize them
not feasible considering what he wants to do.
You can only have one uninitialized vendor.

*scratchhead*
Strange Conversation you are having here... what i wanted to tell with the original Post was a rhetorical Question. When you drop BH you (the player char) cant equip the PC, even for display, same goes for the Tools of other professions.
Seems that i missed my mark by a few km....

I still don't understand the "only one uninitialized" rule. What's it accomplish? I'd like to make 5 vendors in my inventory to see which one comes out with the right look. Especially when you're talking about sizes. Sometimes I get Ithorians that are a meter tall at best, but I cannot tell until they are in place. Would be nicer to just compare them in inventory and then destroy the ones I don't want. Just a thought.

I used to do this so if I got a vendor that was "decent but not what I wanted" I could hold it in reserve and keep trying to see if I could get one that was better.
My guess is that it's an attempt to keep people from using vendors as static decoration.

If you drop those skills, your vendors will eventually go away.
An uninitialized vendor will probably stay around forever.
By preventing more than one uninitialized vendor, they prevent people from dropping 12 vendors for decoration and then dropping all the skills required to have them as the original poster wants to do.

Ah, this is true. But I'd never drop Master Merchant. The perks are jus too good to give up. *puts away Barbie vendors till the next time G.I Jedi comes over to play Star Wars*
The only 1 uninitialized rule came in with the Merchant revamp
The funny thing is..at that time I had 5 dummy vendors sitting in my shop
and that day destroyed the real working ones to set up new ones {thinking I could only place a few}
and was able to place all 12 vendors besides my 5, so under my name I had 18 vendors {had a dummy in friends house}
I ended up taking them all down when I opted for my Gals,
but it was fun to have these vendors unitilaized sitting there that I switched clothes out on just for pure display
