Well, empty vendors would probably not exist, if it wasn't for the time-limit of items on the vendors. There are a lot of people who have lost high-priced items because their items fell off the vendor into the stockroom. So they keep as few items as possible on the vendor, to avoid that, but then have an empty vendor when all of the items are suddenly purchased with a few days. Then there are people who go on vacation and remove all the items to keep them from poofing while they're gone, but maybe forget to take the vendor off of the world registry. It's more a matter of game mechanics, than people deliberately trying to annoy potential customers.

I don't like the unregistor part for empty vendor, because the only one i
got registor is empty most of the time. It down stair in my shop and i only
put special orders on it. Pls it has the name of my shop for it's name, that
why i registor it. The other 5 vendors on the main floor of my shop has the
name of what is in them and stocked with 1000's of item between the 5. So
deleting or unregistoring it would not be a good thing, pls it the 4 name on the
weapons vendor list, i dont want to have to reregistor it and be on the botton
of the list.

Unfortunately empty vendors that are registered on the global map make the service useless to everyone else. When people spend their game time to travel to the vendors then get upset that they have wasted their time and they stop using the map listings because they can't tell when it is empty. This has to change to restore the usefullness to the map feature.

Agreed... I have spent way too much time on my speeder, only to find about 75% of the vendors are EMPTY.
This is frustrating, and as a mall owner I am also frustrated by the cause of most of these.
At least 50% of our city no longer plays, yet we are stuck with empty vendors long afer the houses are gone.

I couldn't care less if the person's mother died. You're playing in a game where thousands of other people play at the same time with you. If you can't manage to keep a consistant vendor always stocked, then you should go bankrupt like any normal company in the real world.
And considering how cheap it costs to keep a vendor up, it wouldn't be surprising that anyone put thousands of credits in their vendor so they remain on the map for hundreds of days.
And all those hundreds of vendors makes current customers think that we all have empty vendors, thus we make less money since people don't trust Registered vendors anymore, thus we resort to spamming, thus increasing the spam and making the world a much laggier place to live in and infested with spam.
Joy!
