My understanding is that the 100 day change is back in and appears on the patch notes for today.
Its in Tiggs's announcement about the hotfix today along with the quest fix that was supposed to go in.

I understand that. Just want to make sure it is clear that it was not the case prior to this morning, and so anybody who was relying on the 100 day counter prior to this morning very likely could have been burned. But it sounds like you know that too.

There is supposed to be two different systems to delete vendors:
1. Empty Vendors are deleted if they go 14 days with no items for sale (offers don't count).
2. Inactive Vendors are deleted if they go 100 days wth no sales activity (New items put up for sale or a sale to a customer)
CS might be confused about the rules as are many of us. I'm not sure the CS was calling you a liar but you have to apprectiate the when he went looking for the records he sees you deleting a vendor and has to wonder what you are talking about. Explaining it calmly would be preferable to going of about it, but I'm not sure if he will be able to see the log of the original vendor or not. I simply don't know.
Blatantly obvious on this one Doc. In between everything else, could they publish something that DEFINES the rules to us? I'm confused about the whole thing, too.

This is by any legal definition FALSE ADVERTISING.
Hate to break it to you, but that call to the lawyer will be a waste of time. It's not false advertising. The notion of 100 days of turnover was not used to lure you into buying you copy of the program... clearly, you already had it. At worst, it's faulty documentation... which is not grounds for any civil suit, let alone criminal charges.
Of course, you're always free to seek counsel, but I hope he/she doesn't laugh at you too hard, since they'll be charging your $200+/hr to do it.

ok gonna derail this thread.....
One day I was loading my vendors, splitting up crates, etc. When I finished, I hopped on my AV, and headed for home. I get about 300 meters fromthe mall, and I start getting spammed with the "you cannot move because your inventory is overloaded" message. I open my inventory to see its 4 of 60. hmmm.. ok obviously a bug. Had gotten this before, and what I did was log out and back on and it fixed it. So I relogged. After I get back, I get the same message "you cannot move because your inventory is overloaded". ok now i'm a doctor working on master merchant. I do not have any combat skills. I quickly scan the area looking for the red con that's gonna eat me. Looks safe for now, I put out a call to my guild, then I put in a CSR ticket. A few from my guild comes running to protect me, (i'm serious, a nuna could have me for lunch). No response to the ticket yet.
Guildmate says, give me an item to see if the inventory counter will reset. We try to trade, and it won't let us, saying one of our inventories was full, and transaction was cancelled. I tried to put things into my equipped pack - same thing, wouldn't let me cuz my inventory was full. Guildmate says, "so what are the 4 items". One was a case of Bivoli (good dr never leaves home without it), a crate of backpacks and 2empty backpacks.
Now, when they put this lil gem into the game, the post said you would be unable to move until you've either dropped or destroyed stuff in your inventory to get back below the limits. Still no answer from CSR. Guild mate says, "Destroy the 4 items, see if it will let you break free." Ok here goes. Backpacks were easy. Tried moving after each one, and no go. Time to delete the bivoli. I didn't want to. Guildmate says "go ahead, I'll replace it" (he's a chef). Squeezed my eyes shut and deleted the bivoli. It was like swallowing cod liver oil. Not sure which hurt worse - destroying bivoli, or not being able to move. Still didnt' work.Couldn't move at all. Scan the area, still no red cons ... safe for now.
Then, CSR answers my plea. They said they needed to warp me in order to clear the bug. They zoned me to 0,0, and then back to the spot I was originally at again. Easy as pie. I told them I had deleted stuff in my inventory to try and get released from the bug.
Their response? We aren't permitted to replace things that you delete.

Desperado,
Sounds to me like you don't understand the system. Since you had nothing up for sale your vendor poofed in 14 days as the devs said it would. Vendors with no items for sale are still gone in 14 days.
What got changed was vendors that do have items for sale, but no activity. These will last for 100 days. If you want to keep a vendor, you have to have something for sale on it.

In Tigg's announcement she said herself that the 100 day change will not affect anyone. The items we put up for sale will only last for so long and then go into the stockroom, therefore, it will turn into an empty vendor long before the 100 days even comes into the picture.

I have to agree with MKappus on this.
I think it got deleted because no actual items were for sale, which registered the vendor as empty. That only takes 14 days til deletion.
If you had items up for sale though, not just using offers and such, then yes your vendor shouldn't have been deleted according to the new rules.
From what you have written above Desparado I think you were only taking offers and thus nothing was for sale. I'm sorry for your loss.
